Needs more improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so enthusiastic to buy and enter this new lera of gaming technology, but the resolution wasn't full hd and also in terms of wires this device isn't wireless so expect free enough space in room to have all cables pluged in and plenty of space to move around.

Great VR (for the price)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where else can you get a VR for $400 which also runs on a $300-$400 PC? Nowhere. Most comfortable headset and works well with glasses too. Only negative is the screen resolution. I would prefer a 2K or 4K display. But for the price and the amazing frame rate it's worth every penny.

VR at it's best for our VR lightyear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS VR is definitely VR at it's best for our lightyear. The VR bundle is a must , although not required if you already have the camera and/or move controllers. However, It comes with a much needed and decent game, VR Worlds, along with the much needed demo disc. Although the games out in 2016 are outstanding and way better than cell phone VR such as Google cardboard, I'm still waiting for a real game such as immersing myself in a Call of Duty game with all controller functions and the like. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed them demos on the PlayStation demo disk where you can purchase the full version if you'd like. If you got the extra cash like I did, it's a great experience. I got motion sickness with Eve Valkyrie. I'm sure a little getting used to will fix that. My guess is kind of like an astronaut might feel in space if he spins too much. I'm definitely going to rate the PS VR and this bundle 5 stars. To infinity and beyond!!

Great price for awesome VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into the store and tested out the headset when they had demo sessions for it. 5 minutes in and I was sold! Bought one when it became available and have been extremely happy with my purchase. Even my 60 year old parents love to play it!

Very good - some time to get used to
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first couple of games I played caused some motion sickness (however, the kids play for hours with no effect). I've read that a little each day gets you used to it. Other than that, complete immersion into a game. I never experienced anything like this before. Simply amazing!!!

The best VR headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own this and another PC headset, this one is better, better comfort, cleaner visuals, and easy set up. If you are interested in VR this is the one to get in my honest opinion.

First Generation VR headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.People are often told not to buy first generation products, but I think the Sony PSVR headset is an exception to this. It works incredibly well for being a first generation product. There are some amazing experiences to be had, especially when you expose non gamers to how immersive the worlds are. Everyone who has the headset will have the surreal moment when they stick out their hands and try to touch something in the VR worlds. Its fun to watch other people have that same experience. VR does need more serious games though. A full fledged X-Wing campaign rather than just one mission, or a call of duty starfighter campaign rather than just a mission, or a battlefield 1 world war I dogfight campaign would be incredible.

Sony hits it big
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The VR is insane. Everyone that comes over to try it out can't believe what they are seeing. I can only play for short periods as I begin to sweat and get motion sickness, but so far, this thing is awesome!!

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth the price. The VR makes you feel like you are part of the game. Very impressed and please with system. Has a lot of cables and if you use it for long periods it can cause motion sickness.

Awesome Gaming!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband LOVES this new device. He says that everything seems so real. It took a little time to adjust; because it seems so real, he wants to actually walk, instead of using the controls! LOL

Cool... for 5 hours
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this much anticipated VR on the release day. The most expensive gaming gear I have ever bought. It was awesome at the first glance. I felt like the time has gone back to when I was 8 years old and things felt wonderous. However as soon as I started games, I came right back to my critical 30 something self. The resolution is a big problem. I am used to watching crystal clear images on 4k tv. Even gear VR of $99 (or free for some) has better resolution. That woke me up a little. Then there goes controls. There was no "snappy" movement. I had to make one too many attempt to do what the games want me to do. It was very frustrating. The novelty of experiencing the new thing on PS carried me on to the end of the game but I would have thrown it away if it were a normal game. And there is the nausea problem. I initially bought three games along with this. One of them was Rigs. Watching videos on Youtube, I really wanted to play that game. Lucky me trying the demo first. 3 minutes into the game, I had to take the headset off my head to rest. That nauseousness comes with all the symptoms of motion sickness but is more head-intensive than that come from riding a vehicle. Hard to get rid of. I returned the game without even unwrapping it. Also, this is not a device for a cord freak like me. I prefer anything without the cords. This device has a LOT of cables to connect let alone the head unit. The device tangled with cords is not really inviting. You need to decide to spend some time on vr then find a right spot, put this big headset with a long cord on just to play about 1 hour or so - your head will sweat and your eyes will feel exhausted after 1 hour. I have played less than 5 hours total. There are not many games out there anyway to go beyond 5 hours. Until there are many games that provide some quality experience - and solve the nausea problem, this is not worth it. I find gear vr has more contents to enjoy and it is cheap, feels more comfortable on the head and no cord. Sony should have done better job controlling the quality of the games and lining up impressive contents before selling something at this price.

Fun in small spurts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This package is great. It comes with everything you need to get started, including a VR demo disc and PlayStation VR worlds. Even without buying any other discs, this package will keep you immersed and busy for a while. Once you are actually playing a VR game, it feels so much more immersive than a traditional game played on a flat screen. It really feels like you are in another world, similar to the matrix. The only thing I didn't like was the headache and nausea that can set in after two hours of play, or after playing games with a lot of movement and tilting. So, playing with VR definitely seems to be better in small intervals. Still, I say I definitely got my money's worth with this purchase. I feel excited for the future of VR

Great product, not quite there yet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great VR system for early adopters. The PS4 VR is a great price to experience this brand new technology. Not perfect as it's not wireless and the screen quality isn't ideal. Worth it for the new experience.

Great Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price tag, the PSVR is an amazing experience. Only great things to be expected in the future. VR Worlds as a great way to experience what the PSVR is capable of.

It's good but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the concept for this, which is similar to the other products out there (which I have yet to try many of them). My issue is the fit. Even though it's adjustable, it puts pressure on my temples even though I have tried to adjust them many different ways. I wish they had an option to swap out the cushions. Also, I had my mom try it out and I didn't know she has a reaction to the material they use for the cushions, so that could be an issue for some. I just wish they had more games for this...and obviously wireless, as all the wires required to set it up can be a hassle.

Good first release but not there yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been enjoying VR solutions since the 90's and I had high hopes for Sony's first platform; however, this one is not for me. The Good: 1.) Sony has a bunch of title support out-the-gate. 2.) Contrary to popular critique, the setup is not difficult. 3.) I wear a decent size corrective lens frame, and the Sony VR headset accommodated them very nicely. 4.) The controls are very fluid across the various demo games shipped with the launch bundle. 5.) While lower in resolution than some of the competition, the fluid processing and smooth controls more than make up for it. The Bad: 1.) Too fuzzy/blurry. This was the show stopper for me. I may have had a bad unit, but based on other reviews I don't think so. I've never seen this issue with the other big VR setup available today. I can use the other VR setup for hours and not have a problem; however, this one gave me an eyestrain headache after ~20 minutes. Sure I could "train" myself to get used to it, but it's just not worth it to me. 2.) While Sony has quite a few titles at release, many of them need work. I do not suffer from vertigo very easily and a few of the more intriguing titles just hit me really really hard. 3.) While the setup is not difficult, it does leave a fair amount of clutter to hide (if that type of thing bothers you like it does me). So I would take my two star review with a grain of salt. A product like this is very susceptible to individual bias. If you're really into VR, I would suggest to give it a try. Things that would make this a solid winner for me: Must Have: 1.) Change up the design and remove the fuzziness from the display. Nice Have: 2.) Bump up the resolution of the display. 3.) It would have been cool if Sony built much of this into their "PS4 Pro" model, so all you would need is the headset jack.
