Had all kinds of issues that I never have had with other VR headsets. Frame rate considerably lower and stuttery compared to headsets with similar resolutions and I’m using a 4090. Now I can’t even try it because opening anything causes it to crash and no game starts in the headset.

Over the course of 2 hours trying to get PSVR2 working on PC, I reinstalled Windows, I DDU'd my graphics drivers and reinstalled, swapped cables, and in the end I managed to play a few minutes of a game (without working audio) before everything stopped working. The Playstation VR steam app crashes on startup or shortly after, Steam VR fails with an unhelpful error code, and I've wasted my money. Do not buy a PSVR2 for PC.

It works good when it works. It doesn't always have a reliable Bluetooth connection. It should have come with a Bluetooth adapter and have the ability to pass through your monitor so you don't lose a connection on your video card.

As the title suggests, you also have to spend money on a display port cord. It doesnt come with one, and no where have i seen any warnings about needing one. I havent used it yet. As im not waiting on the delivery of a display port cord.

Would't work correctly. Was not allowed to return unless I paid basically the same price to join whatver "premium" memeber service. I don't know when the standard 30 day window changed where we have to oay for it now but I'll just keep not shopping at BB. I only got it from here for convenience, never again.
Review is for BB not the device

Better on PC than PS5.

Sony really dropped the ball by not including Bluetooth in the adapter. This had led to a lot of problems setting up the controllers, which could’ve been avoided. But after you get through that headache, the PCVR2 is an amazing PC headset. The deep blacks and beautiful colors outweigh any drawbacks. In fact, despite the lack of HDR, I think it looks better on PC than it does on the PS5. There are some areas that are going to look sharper on the quest 3 due to the pancake lenses and of course the sweet spot is also extremely small on the PSVR2 for the same reason. The sound is definitely better on the quest, I hate messing around with the earbuds and you just don’t get the same surround feeling out if them. The controllers are also very bulky on the psvr and dont track in low light as well as the quest 3 controllers. And of course the quest is a standalone headset as well. So as a total package if you’re going to do more than just PCVR than the quest is still the way to go, but if you’re just going to do PCVR or have a PS5 and have no interest in the native quest titles than this is a great option. In honesty the visuals are overall are better on this headset. In fact, in spite of all I said above, I will probably use this for PCVR more than the quest for that reason alone. The only reason I’m taking off a star is because they didn’t include Bluetooth otherwise it works as advertised.

Adapter works great

People are giving bad reviews expecting the adapter to do things that it isn’t supposed to out long delivery times. The adapter works, as long as your hardware meets the requirements, obviously it won’t if it doesn’t. Having VR without compression while having oled screens is so underrated with a sea of quest users. It’s not perfect, it’s not the best in every category, but it is absolutely a contender. Worth a buy if you have the hardware no question.
