I have nothing but praise for this portable clock radio. I was looking for a clock/radio that didn't need to plugged in to be used around the house and outdoors. The additional benefit is the blue tooth connection so I can play the music already downloaded on my iPhone or iPad. The sound is good, though bass heavy, and it can get loud if you turn it up. The radio is a bonus too because sometimes I want to listen to the local news. It there is a negative to report it would be the price which I think is high. I bought it during a Best Buy Deal of the Day and I snatched it up because the price was right. A good radio, portable, and with blue tooth connection. Great Combination. I highly recommend this.

I charged it up and I use it at work all day ( about 5 hrs) I have owned it for a week and it’s still got all 3 bars.. the sound is good for the work atmosphere and the digital display is big. Hooks up to my Bluetooth phone real easy. Thinking about replacing my alarm clock at home with another one of these bad boys.. I would of gave it five stars but the volume is not the best

Bought this to use in the basement at work. If i put it in the right spot and position the antenna right, i can get most of my local stations. Sound is great, the only thing i wish it had was a calendar and 2-5-7 day alarm; I'd buy another and use it as my morning alarm clock. It's a shame that Sony has really backed off on manufacturing good quality clock radios anymore. Maybe the demand isn't there now that everybody uses their cell phones for a morning alarm but for me it's nice to have a traditional radio next to my bed that actually has good sound, rather than sounding like a tin can. Back to this radio, it has some nice features, like being able to bypass the speaker and plug in a set of headphones, as well as a line in jack, Bluetooth, and a built in battery! Great product!

This is a good quality product that continues to hold up. I bought this to replace an old Sony Dream Machine alarm clock from around 2008 that was designed to work with old iPhones and iPods with the 30 pin style connector. I still have the old alarm clock but gave it to my dad. I do wish this radio/ alarm clock had a remote like the Dream Machine. The big feature advantage of this is the built in battery and Bluetooth. I like the portability and still having use of the radio even if the power goes out. I just wish this would have included Google assistant or Amazon Alexa. It seems like an old fashioned device in a way since it doesn’t have those features. I love Sony quality though and hopefully this lasts nearly as long as the Dream Machine alarm clock.

I love to listen to the radio when I’m getting dressed for work in the morning. This one is just the right size, fits very nicely on my vanity and best of all it’s cordless. The sound and reception is amazing. There’s one station that I’ve never been able to get good reception on in my home, but not this one. I purchased this as a Deal of the Day and it was truly a steal.

This radio puts out fantastic sound for such a small radio. I am very happy with this especially the fact that the charge lasts a long time without having to be plugged in. I bought another really big radio from Best Buy and I ended up returning it because this just gives off such a great sound and it has Bluetooth love it. The price I paid was awesome but even at the full price I probably still would’ve bought it. Very impressive! Happy listening

I love this Sony FM clock radio for my nightstand. The dimmer button for the display let's you set just the right brightness. The unit is easy to set up, easy to scan for stations and program to memory, and easy to set the wake time and turn that function on or off. I love that it has the internal lithium ion battery so it does not have to have the time reset every time we get a power blip out here in the country. I gave it 4 out of 5 starts because the AM reception is weak to non-existent but I don't listen to AM anyway so for FM listeners this unit is a 5.

Bought this to replace an old manual tuning alarm clock radio that I used in bathroom when getting ready for work - old radio had poor reception, impossible to finely tune in radio station and if I didn't like programming being aired, too much hassle to find a different station. This Sony radio solved all those issues and takes up less counter space. Good reception and with 5 station presets I can change stations easily. Clock display is bright enough to serve as a night light if need to make night time trip to bathroom. With built-in rechargeable battery I can take with me when working in other rooms of the house/garage. Great sound.

this radio is being used in the kitchen, taking a very small footprint on the counter; big sound, audio in/out jacks, Bluetooth connect and ease of setup/operation. we like to listen to a community based FM station that has a weak broadcast signal; with the tuner for this radio, the signal for this station works great.

The sound is great to be a small device, it has a very good reception for radio stations, the battery lasts a lot, I am very happy with my device, I am waiting for it to be placed again at a discount, to buy another one more. Thank you

Digital display, bluetooth ready, sensational sound, and an alarm that gets me up and out on time! Battery life is for 32 hours! Wow! And it has pre-set buttons for my favorite staions. I can give the alarm on my smartphone a rest!

Bought this for my mom and she likes it. Sound is great and its handy to bring it around because its small in its size. Its not only an alarm clock , AM /FM radio , it has a bluetootth speaker to play your music from your phone. Price was affordable as i purchased it as a deal of a day.

Perfect compact radio for bath vanity. Rechargable feature eliminates power cord. Decent sound and station presets with very good reception gives it high marks. Bluetooth to ipnone or ipad works great. Navigating the mode changes from AM to FM to Bluetooth requires very quick manual effort. Practice helps. Purchased at a great sales price of $90. Would not have paid $150.

This is a very good radio, blu-tooth, clock device. Sounds great, but Sony didn’t include a snooze feature, which for me is a game killer. Not really a clock radio, it’s a radio with a clock and Blu-Tooth.

Got this for less than a month now as a Deal of the Day and it was a steal at $50! I use it as a bedside speaker and it is connected to Alexa. First off is the sound. It has a very good sound for its size and just like anything by Sony, it has a good solid build. Next is its ability to hold a charge. I have had to recharge it only once during the entire time I have owned it, albeit I am a light user. Lastly, the best thing is the flexibility to use as a standard radio. Call me old school but there are instances when I like listening to AM news. My two gripes are that I will have to press the power button on when I use Alexa as it has auto standby; and I am having difficulty pairing the Bluetooth. Not a big deal as I use an AUX cable to connect to it. Hence the 4 stars.

Has great sound quality, love the Bluetooth function. Only wish it had a snooze button, and maybe functioned more like a true alarm clock

Nice radio, long battery life, sounds good in my kitchen and patio, not a boom box, but a nice portable sound unit. Bluetooth a nice extra, FM good also.

I got one for myself as a replacement for my old Sony Bluetooth speaker and this became my speaker buddy everyday. Best thing is, it’s not just a speaker to play my downloaded music but an AM/FM radio as well. My aunt saw this and she just fell in love with how good the sound is. Now I ordered another one after I gave the other one to her.

I bought this radio to take to baseball games, it does the job. It’s loud it’s clear and the battery life is decent. The cons, it’s size it’s kinda bulky and that the bass is minimal, 0 bass.
