Love the small radio for my backpacking and hiking g trips. Very small and lightweight and fits into my fancy pack when hiking. Works great in places where there are no wifi signals. So can enjoy music and news at the firepits during camping. Also great for an emergency radio during blackouts.

For the price this is a very good, compact radio. Receives local stations well and has excellent volume and sound quality for the price. Only wish there were station presets, but given price, it is just what I expected and am happy with it.

Bought this radio fro my husband. He likes to listen to the ball games when we are at the baseball game. This works out great and he can also pick up the Cubs and Brewers games on this radio.

I purchased this radio to use in case the power goes out. It works great, and reception excellent due to the outside extended antenna. The size is small enough to be stored away for that time when needed. However, if stored, be sure to remove the batteries prior to storage for any extended time.

I have not used the radio much yet, but during my tests it has decent reception. I wanted it for an emergency radio and also to listen to AM while walking since I don't have an unlimited plan for streaming on my phone. It is slightly larger than you would expect a small portable radio to be but that is not a problem for me as I carry it in my purse when listening to it. If you are careful with it, it will stay on the station but if you carry it where it gets jostled around, the dial will likely move off the station. (Could someone please invent a radio that locks in the channel !) It seems well built which I assume is why it is larger than a lot of portable radios out there. So far it fits my needs and time will tell how it stands up for the long haul.

It is very light and easy to carry. The sound quality and signal reception is very good. Still works after several years.

This radio is easy to travel with, very compact. It is also a very sturdy radio. I dropped it on a hard ground surface and it was fine. Sound quality is great for a radio this size. My headphones work well with the jack. All the dials are in convenient places which makes it easy for use.

I would have preferred digital tuning but this seems to hold the station pretty well. The batteries are appearing to last very well as we have it on for at least three hours at a time listening to baseball games we are attending.

Small, compact radio that can go with me all over the house and outdoors. Sound and reception is good, and it's fitting the bill of what I wanted.

I use this light and small radio when I travel. It catches various FM radio stations quickly. The sound is clear and may be loud enough to listen to the radio from another corner of the room. The batteries are good for 2-3 months depending on the usage.

Wanted a radio to use mostly in the bathroom where there is no outlet. Size suits our needs perfectly and it is easily moved to wherever you need to use it. Sound quality is great and I was pleased to get a well known brand for such a good price.

I purchased this radio for baseball games since it's about the only way you can listen to them here in la. Sound came in clear and it was really nice all around. Hand held and it sort of fit in my back pocket. Dimension wise, a really great portable radio.

Overall this little radio works just as it should. It's small and good. It doesn't quite work for what I bought for though as I wanted to use it as an FM receiver for the drive-in movies, but since it has a small antenna and analog tuning, it is difficult and sometimes impossible to tune in the weak signal at my local drive-in. For that purpose a digital tuner and probably a larger antenna would be recomended

This in nice and compact for working out in the garage or yard. The sound is really good for listening to sports while outside. I would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive radio to use while you are working around the house or yard.

It is difficult to rate this radio. I give 5 stars for mine. I give 0 stars for the second radio. This is a sweet little radio. I bought two, one for me and one for my Mom. My mom’s does not work. I bought them both on the same day. New batteries for both radios. Mine works great and hers didn’t. Same house, same batteries from the same new package, same everything. It was the weirdest thing... Need to return the other one.

I was in the market for an AM radio to hear live sports broadcasts (both at home and in stadiums) and did some on-line compare-shopping before I settled on the Sony ICF-P26. I've used this radio at home, in the car, and at the stadium, and the AM reception has been clear, strong, and reliable. It's super light in weight and the button features are very convenient, especially the separate On/Off switch and battery use indicator. I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend it for anyone looking for a radio to carry to the game!

The sound quality is great. The only drawback is the tune, while I am mainly interested in one station. While the radio on my car can do the work easily, it took me patience to tune the radio to get the station, and it is easy to turn away.

As a result of the pandemic, some of my professional meeting are being held a a local drive-in. Problem: audio is presented via FM radio and to preserve the battery, my car's accessory power shuts off in about 10 minutes. Solution: Sony portable AM/FM radio. The price is right; sound quality is excellent; easy to use; batteries last a long time; and doesn't take up much space in the front of the car.

I bought this radio to use at the drive-in movie theater so that I wouldn't have to run the car radio the entire time. Worked perfectly. I was a little concerned because it was one of the smaller and cheaper product options but so glad I got it. It's easy to find stations with good sound quality and for our use in a car it was plenty loud. I would definitely recommend this radio as a great value for the price.

I've had this radio for about a month now. Really impressed! Good quality and good sound. I haven't changed the batteries yet either. My old radio the batteries only lasted a week. Good work Sony!!!
