I got this radio for my mother. Since we had the hurricane we needed a way to communicate and know what was going on. This radio has a great pocket size. It has great reception and it sounds clear. It has an antenna too. It just uses a 2 AA batteries which are easy to find anywhere. If you are making a relief backpack this is an item to add on it.

It has good reception and sound quality for such a small device. Nothing fancy; however practical for anyone facing a natural disaster

good sound and reception, but is NOT for use in a pocket because the dial controls will change the station and volume as the unit is placed in or taken out of the pocket. los, the ear buds plug is on the side, so it interferes with being placed in a pocket. if used stationary, on a table, it's fine.

Good AM & FM radio at reasonable price. The switches are well organize and marked. I do prefer digital tuning, but this one works well.

Our Sony Portable AM/FM Radio is a little gem. It pulls in stations from a long distance and has good quality sound.

The battery life is good and the sound is good also. I had the sony digital that was ok but you needed stock in AAA batteries.

Needed a small portable am/fm radio that runs on batteries - not as easy to find as you would hope. Radio worked good, however the tuning of stations is hard and very touchy to get accurate. Takes some playing around to get the station you want to come in clear. Once found it works as expected.

Perfect gift for my mother in law. Transistors hard to find. Great reception and great price for something so small
