Therefore, it is too easy to turn the radio off when attempting to switch between the two.

The clarity is pretty good with the antenna extended. Worked fine during the last power outage which is why I wanted it.

Perfect pocket size radio

I gave it to my nieces and nephews and bought two for myself . It is a great radio pocket size and great for park, beach or if we lose electricity comes in handy. Please keep selling them .

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I drank the Sony Kool-Aid several years ago and have Sony TVs, DVD players, Cameras, and Lenses. I thought this radio must be of similar quality. NOT! I could not pull in local AM stations clearly much less a station 10-20 miles away. FM works ok, but I bought this for the AM feature. Tuning is almost impossible with stations that are close together and even if the station comes in, the static is unbearable or the signal drops out if you move, the radio moves, the earth moves, if anything moves. I hate to say it but this is going back for a refund and I will seek out an old transistor radio.
