Either in his Jeep while he is just waiting. And this way he won’t ruin his battery in his Jeep! He is already on his second battery. So we got this radio and he is happy with it!

NEEDS DIGITAL TUNING

It is very difficult to control the tuning wheel finely enough to get the stations properly tuned in. I live about 45 miles from a major city and listen to the news channel from there WHEN I CAN GET IT TUNED IN.

Good Basic Radio

Who knew they even had AM stations still broadcasting. Bought mine just to have when power goes out do to storms. But so far seems to work fine. It being a Sony doesn’t hurt either.
