These simple radios were of much better quality way back in the 1960's when I was a kid. The SONY brand actually meant high quality back then.

Cheap returned it the next day. Very poorly made. Really sad things aren’t made like the good old days

This radio met all my requirements. AA batteries for longer life (instead of AAA), able to stay standing up without constantly falling over, clear sound and solid construction.
I would recommend this to a friend

It stops working after a few minutes on. Not sure if I can return this item because I didn’t get the insurance on the radio. I bough the same one 3 years ago and the other radio was good but this one didn’t even last 2 months
