Awesome headset and easy to use with PS5. I don’t know that you can find a better option at this price point. I got this after using the PS Platinum $150 headset and I liked the Pulse 3D even more. The cups gave a much firmer fit than the Platinums and helped give a better volume and overall experience. It’s not super adjustable so you may find they are too small, and even if they fit, you can start to feel the squeeze after a long time with them on. If you’ve got the money, the Pulse Elite headset (releasing later this month from time of this review) is worth looking into though. I have the Pulse Explore and the new upgrades to 3D audio is worth the price if the experience is comparable between the Explore and Elite. Still, for $100, this headset is totally worth it.

Good heads for the money. Very light weight and can fit on any head size. Battery life is actually longer than I expected. Don’t have to charge as much. If your in a room with other guests. At times you can hear them speaking. Depending on how close you are to them. But other than that. Good choice for first set of gaming headphones.

Picked these up the other day and straight outta of the box it is plug and play great sound but lacking bass. I do love the idea of “3D” sound but I feel like it’s lacking something I can’t pin point on completely. User interface is simple to use and I’ve went through numerous settings to get it right but overall it’s a 7 out of 10 headset, great for beginners wanting something to start off with for a decent price at least.

Great when everyone is sleep and I can enjoy whatever I'm watching or playing without disturbing them. They're comfortable and provide great sound.

Got these for my sons birthday as he’s been asking for “gaming headphones” for awhile now. After looking at others reviews we both decided on these ones because unlike others in this price range it comes with “noise canceling” which he wanted for a specific game to hear better on. Well so far he loves them. Said now when he’s playing his game he can hear the background noises and surround sounds he couldn’t previously. For tue price of these it’s a great deal. The only negative thing I would say is as a mom when I’m calling his name from downstairs he can’t hear me at all which can be a good or bad thing lol. Overall highly recommend especially for the beginners out there not wanting to spend allot of money.

Excellent sound for the price point & comfortable when wearing hours on end. Native compatibility with the PS5 ecosystem makes extremely easy to use. mic pickup is great even without a boom & teammates can hear me even when using a quieter voice during night games

3D audio is a game changer! Especially if you play first person shooters like COD or Battlefield. Replaying The Last Of Us (both parts) is also amazing with this headset, it sounds like you’re actually there. Special audio is the real game changer with the PS5. The headset itself isn’t too heavy and is comfortable to wear for longer gaming sessions. The built in mic sounds great as well. Overall a great headset if you’re lucky enough to be able to find one!

This headset is awesome. Sounds very good and crisp. The bass isn’t that strong but good enough. The overall 3D sound is great as well. It’s not as comfortable as some headphones I’ve used but isn’t terrible for long play times. Very easy to connect to the PS5 and I’m guessing the same for the PS4. Definitely would recommend to buy as a great add on to your PlayStation. I’ve only used these with games but I’m sure they sound good with movies as well.

Great headset. The 3ad audio is nice. Adds another layer to sound immersing you into games on another level. Easy to sync with your ps5. Charges quickly. Comfortable on the head. Nice weight. If you have a ps5 and have the money to spend, grab this headset. You won’t be disappointed. Great sound.

These headsets may look strange, but they are very lite, and comfortable over long gaming sessions. They reduce background noise and have a very clear sound. Best of all, when you turn them on, the sound is automatically redirected to them, turning off your normal output. USB-C charging. Zero complaints. (Well OK, they would be better in all black, but that's minor.) I definitely prefer these to me old Sony Golds.

These headphones are fabulous! They are very durable and mine have not worn out at all in the 3 years I've had them. I did have to buy another pair from Best buy but that's because my dogs chewed them... My dogs love rubbery and soft things, which these headphones are. The earphone part is very comfortable on my ears and I am a girl with a typically sized head, but if needed they would stretch. The sound is great, and you can customize it on your PS5 to make it an even better sound experience. Worth every penny in my book!

What I like about the Sony Pulse is the sound is great without an amplifier, I can control chat and game volume separately, easy to mute, and the freedom of wires! Read on for a long boring story but I believe it’s useful for those considering spending more many than what these cost. I’ve been a long time Astro fan. I own the A40TR and mix amp as well as my son has a set also so yeah that’s $500. I got great use out of them with the PS4. I have just had non stop issues with them being used with the PS5. Chat issues where I hear echo, disconnecting issues, replaced the cable from head phones to Amp 3 times. Perhaps there is a reason the PS5 doesn’t have optical support. I was tempted to buy another $250 headset but a friend of mine had these Pulse 3D wireless headphones and never had issues. It is a Sony product so you know Sony will support it! Does it sound as good as the A40s no but in the current state they sure do. I’m not here to say these are better by any means but I’m not spending more money to go through the same issues. My plan now is to enjoy the consistent chat and game play audio and perhaps if the A40s get better support I can always hook them up again.

Sound is clear and headset is comfy even with my glasses on, wish it was a bit louder though. 3D audio is amazing.

These are the most comfortable gaming headphones I have put on. The sound is really really good but I could go for just a little more bass (even after tweaking the setting through the PS5). Different shapes/textures for the buttons would be nice because it takes a while to get use to which buttons do what but it is not a big enough issue for me to knock it down below 4 stars.

I bought these headphones and I was honestly going to return them because I didn't really see the benefits compared to my other headsets. After I adjusted the settings for 3d audio on the ps5, it has improved massively. Also, certain games like COD....the sound is just amazing .. hearing bullets, and people running, and everything else. Now I am super hooked on the headphones. I say they are worth every penny. And they are comfortable as well
