It works great especially with online fps, although the battery life isn't great, still charge them overnight before I got to bed. And I got them on sale which is a huge bonus!

Since the PS5 doesn't have optical audio ports, I couldn't use my Astro A40's any longer. I had to rely on a compatible headset and this worked like a charm. Great quality and easy to use.

Audeze Penrose > Pulse 3D

If absolute best sound quality is what you're looking for, the Penrose has planar magnetic drivers, and a removable microphone. This Pulse 3D wireless headset is good for the price, but I'd recommend looking elsewhere for the best.

When playing games like Tom Clancy's or any other action game you can hear the sounds coming from different directions with varying intensity!! It makes me feel like I am in the actual environment.

Uncomfortable extended play

However, the headband makes me head hurt if I play for extended periods of time! If I know I'll be play extensively then I use my PC headset, little disappointed in that, I wanted something exclusively to use for my PS5. I'll probably add some padding later. Just be warned, the top of your head might get sore.
