I bought these headphones and I was honestly going to return them because I didn't really see the benefits compared to my other headsets. After I adjusted the settings for 3d audio on the ps5, it has improved massively. Also, certain games like COD....the sound is just amazing .. hearing bullets, and people running, and everything else. Now I am super hooked on the headphones. I say they are worth every penny. And they are comfortable as well

Great headset. The 3ad audio is nice. Adds another layer to sound immersing you into games on another level. Easy to sync with your ps5. Charges quickly. Comfortable on the head. Nice weight. If you have a ps5 and have the money to spend, grab this headset. You won’t be disappointed. Great sound.

What I like about the Sony Pulse is the sound is great without an amplifier, I can control chat and game volume separately, easy to mute, and the freedom of wires! Read on for a long boring story but I believe it’s useful for those considering spending more many than what these cost. I’ve been a long time Astro fan. I own the A40TR and mix amp as well as my son has a set also so yeah that’s $500. I got great use out of them with the PS4. I have just had non stop issues with them being used with the PS5. Chat issues where I hear echo, disconnecting issues, replaced the cable from head phones to Amp 3 times. Perhaps there is a reason the PS5 doesn’t have optical support. I was tempted to buy another $250 headset but a friend of mine had these Pulse 3D wireless headphones and never had issues. It is a Sony product so you know Sony will support it! Does it sound as good as the A40s no but in the current state they sure do. I’m not here to say these are better by any means but I’m not spending more money to go through the same issues. My plan now is to enjoy the consistent chat and game play audio and perhaps if the A40s get better support I can always hook them up again.

Sound is clear and headset is comfy even with my glasses on, wish it was a bit louder though. 3D audio is amazing.

These are the most comfortable gaming headphones I have put on. The sound is really really good but I could go for just a little more bass (even after tweaking the setting through the PS5). Different shapes/textures for the buttons would be nice because it takes a while to get use to which buttons do what but it is not a big enough issue for me to knock it down below 4 stars.

Amazing headset!! The 3D sound is amazing! If you play COD then it helps so much! Can hear the enemies footsteps. Super comfortable and battery last a long time. I love them.

Great when everyone is sleep and I can enjoy whatever I'm watching or playing without disturbing them. They're comfortable and provide great sound.

For $100, this is a great option. The sound is good, quality is good enough. Its all plastic and the ear cups are the plushest feeling. I dont think these would be great for long gaming sessions, but 2 hours or less, probably be fine. Sound is solid, for the price, I dont think youll get too much better. I havent played much but it does give a good sense of depth and surround sound. Not very punchy but thats fine. I dont think theres much going wrong if picking these. Ive paid more for lower quality, I think this is a great option.

For price you get a good quality headset. Takes a bit to get use to button placements of everything but not long. Only complaint i wish the mic monitor function was a bit louder i dont really notice my own voice when speaking on it witch can tend to make you talk alot louder, other then that very good headset for the price. Was comfortable wearing for several hours. These do take up a usb slot when gaming wireless, has an apdapter you have to plug into console.

4.75 STARS because i don't like all of the tiny controls on one side. It is hard to know whats what when wearing the headset. Great other than that. The sound is awesome (surround too) and I like how easy it is to make adjustments with the eq. The fit is firm but not too firm. The padding is thick and soft. They feel very light on my ears. Definitely buy.

I do not have the PS5 to see how these really work. However. With my old basic PS4, these sound great! Nice options on volume with game and chat. Simple button to mute or turn off mic. Comfortable! The battery life is good. Mic seems clear each time I play in multiplayer. You can monitor your own voice with a button option as well. May have to wait a year until I get a PS5 to really enjoy the 3D function.

For the price, these headphones are a solid buy. You will not be blown away by bass and treble. However if playing the right game it will give you a solid sense of immersion when playing. Games like NBA 2K, Call of Duty sound fantastic. Miles Morales while the city sounded fine I found myself wanting more with the volume. You can not customize the EQ's on here like other headphones but for this price it is worth buying. They are pretty light on the head and after sometime it can get sweaty in the ears after awhile with the cups.

Great sound and very comfortable on the ears. The battery lasts a long time so you can game for hours.

Love the Pulse 3D headset… it works awesome with the PS5 and PS4 Pro. Although on PS5 their is no available companion app. It’s built inside of the PS5 settings in audio. The Pulse 3D clearly demonstrate it runs native to the PS5 console and connects flawlessly and sounds awesome on Sony first party titles! Other 3rd party titles sound great too! I use my Pulse 3D headset on PS5 and my Gaming PC, with a purchased Dolby Access subscription - you are able to get Dolby Atmos codec on your Pulse 3D headset! Im rocking Sony’s proprietary Tempest 3D codec on PS5 and Dolby Atmos via Dolby Access on my Gaming PC. They sound great both on these gorgeous Midnight Black Sony Pulse 3D headphones. The only flaw is its plastic feel, but of course these are only $100. Not $300 headphones. Awesome quality for the price!

These definitely make the game you are playing more immersive if it supports 3D audio. Although I already own the platinum headset and I don’t think these are leaps and bounds better. If you don’t already have a high quality headset, I’d suggest these for the quality/price comparison. I hunk future games will take advantage of the tech in the future and get more out of these things. Lastly, I feel these could have more bass and the ability to customize the sound with an app like the platinum headset used to have.

These headphones are fabulous! They are very durable and mine have not worn out at all in the 3 years I've had them. I did have to buy another pair from Best buy but that's because my dogs chewed them... My dogs love rubbery and soft things, which these headphones are. The earphone part is very comfortable on my ears and I am a girl with a typically sized head, but if needed they would stretch. The sound is great, and you can customize it on your PS5 to make it an even better sound experience. Worth every penny in my book!

This is the perfect companion wireless headset for your PS5! It matches color scheme and the design is sleek. I love how comfortable it is with the inner rubber band that sits on your head very subtly. Love the 3D sound during gameplay especially for FPS games! There is good amount of battery life, I do wish they could have a longer charge cord that you could use when the battery is low.

These headphones perfectly fit with the design aesthetic of my setup. It isn't too heavy and rests comfortably on my ears. Been using it for quite some time and don't have a single complain. Also sounds decent for the price and has very good built quality.

These are amazing. Not too expensive and the sound quality is solid, they fit comfortably, and they look clean! Also super easy to adjust volume and mute/unmute. Definitely recommend 10/10
