Variety of features, audio quality, and price make this arguably the best PS5 headset available.
Right side of mine snapped once but thats what warranties are for. Swapped to my more expensive Maxwell Audeze during this period but still prefer Pulse Elite.

They feel solid on my head and the aound quailty is really good. One option i didnt realize i would is that o can connect to my phone's Bluetooth and my console which makes spotify control much easier and i can take phone calls with no break in the game.
They feel good on my head, but the design makes me look like a cheap looking syfy minotaur. Other than that, theyre great.

Much better than the Regular Pulse

I have the Regular Pulse, but the ear cups started to decay so I ordered one from Amazon but the replacements never felt right so I decided to get the Elite Pulse for $50.00 more and it sounds much better and fits Time much better. The one drawback is the hanging up of the charger but you can just plug it in to the headset but the hanging one you just lift it off and turn it on.

Been gaming for 30 years with several headsets over that time and I’ve never had one that is as perfect as this one. Super comfortable. Sleek retractable and bendable mic with a convenient mute light on it. You can mute from the controller button. Excellent sound. Can play bluetooth audio seamlessly side by side with gameplay audio. Includes a wireless charging mount as well. No brainer.

I need to get another one because the black one is so cool looking. My favorite headset of all time. My only complaint is when the headset happens to disconnect from the usb receiver, it’s a pain to reconnect it.

Perfect companion for the Playstation Portal

Let me start by saying that I have purchased the Pulse Elite headset specifically for use with the Playstation Portal. So everything I mention here will be in regards to my experience with that pairing.
The audio quality is very good! It ian't the most clean and amazing thing ever, but certainly good enough to let you become immersed in whatever you're playing at the time. The best comparison I can make is to it's predecessor, the Pulse 3D. The Pulse Elite is definitely cleaner and more crisp than the 3D, in fact, audio quality on all fronts is just a small step ahead of the 3D.
When wearing the Pulse Elite for an extended time frame, the only issue I have is that the leatherette of the ear cups makes me very warm where it rests. Not really a big issue, it's still very comfortable.
Finally, for ease of use. The first time you go to pair the Pulse Elite to a PS5 OR a Portal, it's just a little tricky. Just make sure you read the directions twice before you even start. However, once the headset is paired that first time with the Portal, you only need to turn on the Portal, turn on the headset and you are good to go! No dongles or receivers to fool with.
If you have a Playstation Portal, and do not have a dedicated headset for it, than absolutely get the Pulse Elite! For the price, it just doesn't get any better.

The sound quality is great -> when they work. I like that I can listen to podcasts on my phone and still hear my game. The headphones drop connection at the most inconvenient times and have to be manually re-connected to the adapter. (It does not automatically reconnect) This is a longtime issue that Sony cant or wont fix. The headband is extremely flimsy and will snap if not used very carefully. People have 3d printed brackets that can reinforce it. My usb adapter also quit working (no lights, reset didn’t work). A new one was $20. For this amount of money, I should not have these kinds of problems.

Quality is great and durable. Bough for my son a month ago. And these are better than the original Sony headset. Only giving 4 stars as we haven’t had the headset long enough to see if they stand the test of time.
