Absolutely atrocious headset! Broke on right ear within a few weeks. Flimsiest quality no support in that area. I guess it’s a known issue.

After 2 months of regular use and no throwing or mishandling, they broke. The right side of the headset just cracked and bent in half. No longer usable, no warranty, past return period. I’m completely screwed. Very disappointed

The Pulse Elite delivers fantastic, detailed sound thanks to planar magnetic drivers and Tempest 3D Audio, with 30-hour battery life and a handy charging hanger. It’s comfortable for long sessions, and PlayStation Link keeps latency low while letting you connect to Bluetooth at the same time. Downsides? Some occasional connection hiccups and bass that’s less punchy than expected.

Once a guy gets used to the buttons this is a great upgrade over the launch pulse headphones. My only niggle, (not sure if it’s a software flaw or a hardware flaw) is that after 3-4 hours of use it loses connection with the ps5 only to hook back up. It’s a minor gripe but it does keep it from a perfect rating. I have a hige head and wear glasses but these fit perfectly. The sound is great, the telescopic microphone is a solid touch as well. It’s worth every penny.

Whats not to like? These pulse elites are VERY comfortable! Not heavy unlike the turtle beach stealth pro's and sound quality is top notch! Playing one of my favorites sniper elite you can hear every bird, the sounds of the water, crisp gunshots. Very impressed! And its virtually plug and play no annoying setup process (looking at you turtle beach stealth pro). Just stick doggle in back of ps5 fonnect wire to headset into ps5 intially to download the update and its gd to go! Three presses on mic button brings up many predetermined mic levels and three custom ones for your creating. Sound is superb, comfort is superb, charging is easy and pleasing. Just hang onto provided wall mount and it sets right on the charging points! $150 plus tax is a great buy. Oh and the cushion of the earpieces are super soft and cushy and feels gd on the ears. Need a headset? Buy these!

This headset is solid tbh. It feels very comfortable, even after wearing it for a few hours. I use it for gaming, and work. The battery life is also pretty good as well. It is overall a very good headset, although I have one major issue with the headset: it will randomly disconnect itself. For example, I can be playing Call of Duty, the headset can have a full battery and for absolutely no reason the headset will just randomly disconnect itself. So you would have to stop what you’re doing, disconnect the USB adapter from whatever device you are using, then reconnect. That is insanly irritating. Other than that, good headset.

    Premium Sound Meets PlayStation Integration

The Sony Pulse Elite is a uniquely designed headset that immediately stands out. The headband flows seamlessly into the mic area, and the embedded mic is a sleek touch. It reminds me of something like a sliver from Darth Vader’s helmet – clean, modern, and futuristic. But more than just looking good, this headset sounds incredible. Sony’s decision to include magnetic planar drivers – typically found in much more expensive audiophile headsets – shows they were serious about delivering high-end sound at a reasonable price. The result is sharp, crisp audio with phenomenal detail. Nothing gets lost or muddled, which is essential when gaming competitively and every sound matters. It’s clearly designed with the PlayStation 5 in mind. You can control the sound directly and even customize EQ profiles from within the PS5 itself. This level of integration makes it feel like a native part of the console experience. Now, if you're expecting heavy bass, this isn't the headset for that. It’s not tuned for punchy music-style bass. Instead, the focus is on bringing out every little detail with clarity, and in that, it excels. But thick fat sounds do come through during explosions or gun fire in FPS games. A big bonus is the simultaneous Bluetooth support. You can connect the headset to your phone or tablet while still using it for PS5 audio, so you don’t miss important calls or notifications during gaming. The only downside is the fragile area above the earcups in the headband. A lot of users have reported cracks over time. Mine hasn’t broken yet, but I handle it gently and avoid overstretching it. Just something to be aware of. Overall, the Pulse Elite delivers high-end sound, sleek design, and PS5-first features at a surprisingly competitive price. If clarity and detail matter to you, it’s a fantastic choice.

The Pulse Elite headset is an outstanding addition to the PlayStation ecosystem. If you’re looking for immersive sound, comfort, and seamless PS5 integration, this headset delivers on all fronts. Sound quality is incredible — rich, detailed, and well-balanced. The 3D audio really shines in games like Demon’s Souls and Returnal, where directional sound makes a huge difference. You can hear every footstep, reload, and environmental cue with precision. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and the highs are crisp. Setup was effortless — it connects wirelessly with no noticeable lag, and it’s clearly designed with the PS5 in mind. It also works with other devices via Bluetooth, which is a nice bonus. The comfort is surprisingly good even during long sessions. The build feels sturdy but lightweight, and the ear cups don’t press too hard. Battery life is solid, and the quick charging feature is convenient when you’re short on time. The retractable boom mic is a major step up from the original Pulse 3D headset. It’s clear, low-noise, and actually useful for party chat or streaming. Bottom line: If you’re serious about audio and want something that’s fully optimized for PS5, the Pulse Elite is absolutely worth the investment. Sony nailed it with this one.

The Sony Pulse Elite headset blew me away the second I put it on. The 3D audio is insanely immersive — I can hear footsteps, reloads, and subtle details I never noticed before. The bass hits hard but stays clean, and the mic quality is crystal clear for online play. It’s super comfortable too — I’ve worn it for hours without any pressure or fatigue. The build feels premium, and pairing it with my PS5 was effortless. Best Buy delivered fast and packaged it perfectly. If you’re serious about gaming audio, the Pulse Elite is worth every penny.

These headphone are pretty good! The sound is crisp and you can customize the EQ (bass, treble, ect) to your liking. The headset has dual connectivity, meaning you connect to the Playstation 5 using the new PlayStation Link feature and link to your mobile phone via Bluetooth. You can play games and listen you your favorite music, podcast and take phone calls. I was able to get 32 hours before charging and with the fast charge feature, you'll be back at it in no time. Now there have been a few people who has problems with the headset disconnecting. I was one of those people, not gonna lie. I reestablished the connection using the instructions inside the box and haven't had issues with disconnection since. All in all the comfort, sound and mic make this a decent headset for the price

The Sony wireless headset offers solid performance with clear, balanced sound and reliable connectivity. The audio quality is crisp, especially in the mid and high ranges, making vocals and instruments stand out nicely. However, the bass could be a bit stronger for those who enjoy a deeper, more powerful sound. The Bluetooth connection is stable and easy to pair, and the battery life is impressive — lasting several hours on a single charge. The build feels sturdy yet comfortable enough for long listening sessions.

Sony’s implementation of Audeze’s planar magentic drivers has made a big impact on how everything sounds in this headset. While it isn’t the best for bass and the treble needs to be adjusted a bit, the surround sound technology in this headset mixed with the PS5’s Tempest audio engine makes it amazing to identify sounds from every angle in a game. The retractable mic is a nice rouch as well and i havent had any complaints from people I play with. I heard the AI noise cancelling is great but I play in a quiet room so I can’t speak to that part. They are also pretty comfortable. The earphones shift and move when you move your head and they can be a little noisy when I move around. I think this is a great step up from the original Pulse headset, especially for just an additional $50.
