The great thing about the headphones was the sound, very great in that case. Battery life is also good. But one thing that is bothersome is the Bluetooth. At random times it can cut off and have to remove adapter then install again to get it working. For the price there could be better options perhaps.

Pretty sleek headset. I previously had a Pulse 3D. This actually brings a wall-mounted wireless charger; it's a nice addition, I didn't know it came in the box. The noise cancellation on this is amazing, and battery life is great. I would recommend it to anyone.

They disconnect out of nowhere and hard to reconnect them mid game. Sounds and fit is great.

Granted I only have a few hours using these at this point, but my initial impression is that this is definitely an upgrade from the Pulse 3Ds. The 3Ds were very good, don’t get me wrong, but the sound quality on these is upgraded. The muffs fit around the ear a little more snug compared to the 3Ds and the foam material the muffs are made out of is soft and feels luxurious. These felt very comfortable on my head for the few hours I played. I found that my ears did not get sweaty or hot using these, so that was also an added bonus with the upgrade. At first I was not sure I liked the fact that you had to go into the sound options (3x presses of the mute/pair button) in order to adjust the chat/game volume mix, but I now actually prefer this. With the 3Ds, I found myself fumbling with the buttons to try to get the right one pressed, but having to do this through the menu only takes a second and is now preferred. I also like that you can adjust the EQ settings on the fly. Increasing and decreasing main volume is now easier because there are only the one set of buttons. I played with the boom mic extended as well as retracted and there was not noticeable difference in my chat voice. I prefer to have the mic retracted so it is out of my peripheral view, but for those who prefer the "boom" mic, it gives you the option. Overall, very happy with these. Definitely an upgrade (as far as sound quality) to the Pulse 3Ds. Comfort is on par with the 3Ds, but the muffs are upgraded and do a good job keeping your ears cool.

I originally purchased the Explore buds and returned them after 1 day. These are way better if you just want something for in home use. They sound really good. They are very comfortable. Battery life is amazing. Only gripe is for $150 Sony doesn't include a screw to mount the charger?! But they are great and I am keeping them. I tell people avoid the overpriced Explore buds and get these.

I have been using the Elite Pulse headset for a couple months now. I had the astro 40 headset and this one does have better sound. You can quieter stuff not heard before and the directional sound is good. I just bought a second adapter to use on my pc because I keep swapping between Ps5 and pc to play. It has cut out a few time but usually just turning off and on the headset resets it. It does have a very long battery life too. If I could get it to connect to my Samsung S22 phone via Bluetooth, I would have given it a five star. Hopefully an update will fix that at some time.

The audio quality is good and the 3D effect it gives when configurating it on the PS5 console is pretty immersive. The fact that this is both a wireless headset that can be used wired too makes it even better. The only issues i have with the headset is that the materials used are not of good quality, the parts from the sides are already starting to crack open, something that never happened to me with other headsets.

I have purchased and currently use two of these on separate PS5s and they both constantly disconnect. One will reconnect automatically and the other will not, I have to turn the PlayStation off and back on to get the headset to connect. They both stay connected to my phone even when disconnecting from the PlayStation. The sound is decent and the time of use between charging is great.

So the sound quality is pretty good. You still need a thumb stick that it comes with in order to connect to the PS5. I wish the PS5 had one built in that would pair straight away. Aside from that these headphones are comfortable, convenient controls built into the unit, though these are not noise canceling, but that might be a good thing if the wife is calling in the middle of a gaming session and your realise to late youve won the battle but lost the war. These are a good accessory to have.

I just got mine a few days ago and have used them for multiple, long gaming sessions. The sound out of the box is really good, but once I was able to dig through the EQ I’m blown away with the sound now. They fit perfectly around my ears, are not tight and are pretty light in my opinion. I do play single player games so the game to chat feature missing doesn’t affect me, but one of my friends is really disappointed since Sony had it on their last PS headset. I haven’t had one disconnect like I’ve been reading about, but there are multiple post everywhere with people having that issue. I’m not sure if it’s the luck of the draw or if there’s some kind of interference that could cause this for others. I’ve had it connected to both the Link dongle and my phone over Bluetooth at the same time, which is one of my favorite features. Didn’t miss a text or a call while I was playing .

Coming from the previous pulse headphones, these do a lot right. They are very comfy, with much larger ear pads. The mute button being on the mic head is nice as it allows you to more easily see when you're muted. They lack a dedicated button for chat/game leveling but that's still available in the sound menu. Super easy to connect to the dongle on console, but took some effort to connect to the Portal. There is also a slight whine that can start up every once in a while, but it's usually fixed with a quick reboot. All in all, fantastic headphones for the price.

These headphones are great! The sleek design of headphone look nice. The padding on the ears are comfortable and really help to engulf you in submerging sounds of gameplay. The retractable microphone is clear and tucks away neatly when not in use. The controls for this device were made simple and easy to find over the previous PlayStation headphones and easy to find in heated gameplay.

I would give this a 5 star everything is good I love the sound I like how you can edit the eq’s to make foot steps louder or bass bass isn’t that good on here but I use it for footsteps mostly for R6 it’s really easy to use I love how I can have it connected to the ps5 n my phone at the same time but the build quality sucks like I only had it for like lil over a month and I would be careful like normal headset taking on and off and one day it like snapped I didn’t even know I found out till after I took it off I’m glad I bought the warranty so I got a new one and noticed after a day or so like the glue of the part where the last one snapped started getting weaker and started separating from the body so the build quality sucks but the sound is good

The sound it amazing I can adjust the base and other hearing parts that I didn’t even really realize, there also adjustable to your personal head size so the fit perfectly, the battery life in these head phones last along time making talking with friends and family an amazing time .

Very good headset! Can hear everything loud and clear! Easy set up! Sometimes it will disconnect but its rare. Overall I love it!

I had the sony platinum headset for the ps4 and compared to this pulse elite is not that great. There's no bass at all. And the retractable mic seems outdated. But other than that its a great headset especially the 3d audio and battery life.

First time splurging on a headset, and I've been absolutely loving it so far except for one little thing. It has a habit of randomly disconnecting every once and a while, which can be very annoying when I'm in the middle of a game. But it's a very quick fix by just unplugging the USB and plugging it back in. Other than that, the headset is fantastic with great sound & microphone quality, exceptional Active Noise Cancelling on the mic, and very quick setup.
