My Recorder its the best quality in sound and size for me i carry where ever i go it makes my life easier

I bought the PX series and wrote a glowing review of that one. I bought this as a backup, just in case. As I stated in the other review, I write guidebooks for Mexico and take notes on my recorder during long car trips. This recorder is simpler than the Sony-PX, and the recording quality is very good, but not quite on par with the PX. But it is half the money and for what you are paying, it is a good value. If your recording is done at quiet environments, and you don't need much noise cancellation, this will probably work for you. If the environment is noisy, like in a car, you'd do better to buy the PX. If you get this instead of the PX, you might find the Panasonic mic a welcome addition.

The Sony voice recorder is simple to use, and the setup is simple. It also has a USB port, and SD card. The recordings are nice and clear, and much better than my old Sony recorder. The price wasn’t bad either. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, light weight, reliable recorder.

The recorder is easy to use and has clear audio, and appears to be sturdy. Battery life is good and love the amount of total storage.

So easy to operate. It has a lot of very helpful functions and tons of memory. Excellent quality!

I purchased these to use for judges audio comments during a marching band competition. The audio quality was excellent, even in a high background noise environment. The files were recorded in MP3 and were easily transferred through the USB connection built into the device. The judges using the recorders liked using them as well, saying they were very intuitive. All in all, they worked perfectly and look forward to using them many more times in the future.

It works good. Records for a long time. It's easy to use. Love how small it is. I was able to accomplish my task with this recorder.

Nice little digital recorder has good audio and is really very easy to use and also love the hidden usb to upload to computer right from device

This voice recorder is awesome. It is compact, easily used and can be used to record anything you choose. Record your grocery list, dogs barking, an argument, minutes of a work meeting. Use your imagination and enjoy. Record music for a flight. JUST use it!

Wanted a way to record my father talking about World War 11. He is 96.5 years old and never wanted to talk about being in France. This is easy to use and is smaller than a normal tv remote. I have just used it one time for 45 minutes and played a little of it back. I still have to figure out how to get the best volume on the play back. I feel this is just my problem not the recorder !!!!

I like the recorder it is compact in size and it is fairly easy to use.

It's a Sony product made in Japan, so it's compact, of good quality, and very easy to use.

I had never used a portable recorder and found it very intuitive to use. I didn't even read the manual before I used it the first time. I was a little afraid I was going to lose my recording somehow when I transferred it to my computer (I'm not very computer savvy), so I bought a micro-SD card and recorded onto that first as "insurance." This was easily done as well, and I needn't have worried about doing the initial trasfer in the first place. The sound quality was good, even though I had to "hide" it in my bra behind a scarf when I needed it the first time instead of a pocket. There is a plug-in mini-mike available, but while this would avoid a little "rustling" I didn't see a wy to really hide it. Long recording time.

This is my second one of these because I lost the first one... The retractable USB connection is great, but a bit unwieldy as it must be held in the extended position manually to be inserted, but that is easily done. I'm running a Samsung Chromebook and the recorder works just fine with it - no tech issues at all. Great, simple to use, tons of memory and great battery life for my use.

This recorder is very compact and easy to use. The voice is clear and easily understood, even when recording in large groups.

The size is great and the sound reproduction is very good. It is very easy to use and is easily carried in my pocket. Highly recommended.

Great for college to record notes clear sound and quality

The audio is pretty good, and the recorder is user friendly. It's easy to setup, and transfer recordings.

Item was compact and easy to use. After making a recording it was very easy to connect to my computer and download the recording so that I coyld trim the unwanted audio at the beginning and end. Audio was very clear and easy to hear. Highly recommend!
