Does excellent job recording audio. Sound is clear. Easy to use. Files are stored easily onboard or on a mini sd card.

I like this Sony Recorder , You can add 32 gb Micro SD card for extra Music ,files and voice recording. The microphone picks up sound very Well and clear. when powering up , the switch is a little tricky. It has Power Hold on switch. Which i found if you move the switch to hold for A split second and then let go, seems to come right on. small and compact 4-1/2l-x1-1/2w-x3/4t, Also has speaker and headphone 3.5mm plug on top by Micro phone. The Price is right.

Great recorder that's easy to use and has good battery life. I like the ability to transfer via USB and I sound quality is good. The recorder is even better if you can pick it up on sale!

We all have phones and we can use the voice recorder on it. BUT having a separate recorder is more ideal. When you are recording on a phone, you can't do anything else. Free up your phone and use a dedicated, QUALITY recorder. Easy to down load files. Worth it!

The recorder is compact in size and light in weight. The screen shows excellent. The most important thing is the sound quality. Picks up even the quietest sounds. the record files are small and good for the lectures. it is easy to use.

I love this thing! I haven't even used all the features but I learned how to record right away. It does that very well.. i use it to record my audio voice over for my new YouTube channel... Quest4tech it does that very well and I can hook up a microphone right to it then plug the recorder right into the computer

Very easy to use. This little recorder records clearly and good quality but it picks up loud scratch ones when in a pocket or something rubs against it. Placed on a table, stationary, is the best.

Purchased in order to record myself giving a speech. Easy to use. good sound quality. I was even able to plug in my car using USB to playback while I drove. Would recommend!!

I used different kinds of voice recorders over the year and Sony stood out. I did not need light to slide the on-off switch when I was going to bed. The time-stamp was important to me because I wanted to convert to my journal. I dropped off the Sony several times and it was almost unbreakable (except I lost one in an airplane). Two rechargeable batteries could last over almost half a year. Highly recommended.

This recorder is great. I know you can record on your phone but if you are like me and have many great thoughts in the middle of the night you can just pick this up record your thought by turning on by touch in the dark. I have been so grateful every time I listen in the morning that I did not forget my thoughts.

This is an excellent product. easy to use. The volume is what I like. My experience with my former recorder's volume was not as good. I also like the slim line, making it easy to carry.

I have purchased one of these items in the past and was very satisfied. I had to purchase a new one due to additional meetings. It has great quality. You can hear the people talking very clearly. It is also very easy to set up and use. Very user friendly.

Bought this because of the ability to record sound and transfer it to my computer as an MP3 file. The enclosed user guide was easy to use. I was glad for this because, before I bought this recorder I had downloaded a very lengthy and detailed guide from Sony which contained more info than I needed. The recorder has a slide-out USB attachment which works fine. The recorder is light in weight and would fit in a large pocket. It has a variety of settings e,g, note-taking, lecture, meeting, etc. which you can select according to the situation in which you are recording. It records in mono. Sony, I think, makes another recorder which records in stereo and does not cost a lot more then this mono one. The one that bought could be a little more sensitive to sound, but I am happy with it.

I bought this for my husband to use this man did not read the directions he did not like that the power button has to be slid and held to turn on he liked the digital screen the quality of recording was really good and he likes that you can hook it up to the computer it has a built in usb and comes with batteries we bought a micro sd card for it as well it was very functional for the money it
