This recorder is easy to use, and the Playback sound quality is good. Despite this, the micro chip commonly used on camera's and camcorders best buy does not fit on this device! It only has 4 hours worth of storage without a chip, and you need to make sure the micro-chip is an audio chip or else the chip may not be compatible with your device.Also be sure to cut the volume up all the way up before recording or your recording might sound faint! Otherwise,it is a good recorder!

It works good. Records for a long time. It's easy to use. Love how small it is. I was able to accomplish my task with this recorder.

Easy to set-up and use. Great sound replay of voice recording. Great for voice note taking. Has built in USB to transfer recording to free up recording space if needed or you can purchase a separate sd card more recording space. Highly recommend!

I use this quite often. Recording is easy, menu navigation is easy, play back quality is good, batteries last long time, transferring files to a PC is quite simple. Not much not to like about this.

This recorder is compact. You only need to push the button once to record. The sound is very good. It plugs right into your computer via USB. You can add additional storage with a microSD card. It takes two AAA batteries.

I have only used the device a couple of times since purchasing. The sound quality is good at close range (not certain abt distance, yet). Perfect size, long battery life & easily operable w/one hand.

I had never used a portable recorder and found it very intuitive to use. I didn't even read the manual before I used it the first time. I was a little afraid I was going to lose my recording somehow when I transferred it to my computer (I'm not very computer savvy), so I bought a micro-SD card and recorded onto that first as "insurance." This was easily done as well, and I needn't have worried about doing the initial trasfer in the first place. The sound quality was good, even though I had to "hide" it in my bra behind a scarf when I needed it the first time instead of a pocket. There is a plug-in mini-mike available, but while this would avoid a little "rustling" I didn't see a wy to really hide it. Long recording time.

Always wanted to own a voice recorder. This does the job. Battery lasts for a long time, the recording is clear and it's easy to hold for the interviews i do.

I like this Sony Recorder , You can add 32 gb Micro SD card for extra Music ,files and voice recording. The microphone picks up sound very Well and clear. when powering up , the switch is a little tricky. It has Power Hold on switch. Which i found if you move the switch to hold for A split second and then let go, seems to come right on. small and compact 4-1/2l-x1-1/2w-x3/4t, Also has speaker and headphone 3.5mm plug on top by Micro phone. The Price is right.

I've never owned a voice recorder. This is a great first voice recorder. It's easy to use, it has a great battery on it. I like how the USB is connected with the voice recorder, so there isn't any extra cables, and the worry of losing the cable.

It is very great size, easy to use with clear digital sound. Able to record for a reasonable period of time. I will highly recommend it.

Purchased for a video project where we needed to place a mic on someone. I did not want a wireless mic, so we used this to feed audio to. It was perfect audio quality. Easy to use, long battery life and far less than a wireless lapel mic.

So glad I bought this! Best Buy even price matched it when I did! It records in lecture mode so as to not pick up a lot of ambient noise, holds about a month of lectures before I have to make more room. USB built right in lets me transfer the audio file to my computer right away in mp3 format. I can listen to the lecture on the recorder in playback mode or listen on my computer. Has time and date setting and volume control for recording lectures. I didn't realize I would love this gadget so much!

This is a great little recorder. Small enough to put in a pocket and you can record away. The sound quality is very good. You can put your recordings into different folders. It shows you, your recordings by the date, most recent recordings, and different folders.

Purchase to record zoom meetings where I was reponsibl for note taking and sending out to the group. It does just that. In hindsight, I wish I would have paid more and purchased a recorder that allowed you to rewind and listen and also fast-forward to various sections of the recording.

I needed a recorder to help me with mesaages at church. Just a small congregation , bit i wanted to be sure of what i say and make sure that my dialect is plain and understandable. I can playback, or download , or even listen through the car or other devices. I can save it to ma phone or pc and it is also memory upgradable. Very clear recording and easy to use. I love it.

Used for lectures in a healthcare education program. Works very, very well. Even when I run late and I'm sitting in the back of the class. I can plug in the USB into my car and listen to recordings while driving, and the recordings can be uploaded to iCloud with ease.
