I purchased a new camera that took this type of memory card - I was previously unfamiliar with this kind. This one works really well and gets the job done (I was surprised at the price point though).

It’s expensive, yes, but it’s also fast and durable. Best card I’ve used in years. If you shoot Nikon mirrorless, this is the one to get.

Fast Card for Fast Cameras

Many high end cameras use XQD cards because they have a faster read and write speed than even the best SD cards are capable of. I have a Nikon D500 DSLR camera with fast lenses. The camera is capable of 10 frames per second. For fast action shots it requires fast cards so the camera's buffer doesn't bog down the shooting speed. I currently own two 64mb and one 32mb XQD cards. These cards are also great for shooting 4k UHD video. The downside is these cards are pricey.

Fast memory card for my D850

I got this card for my D850. It was cheaper than a CFExpress card and in a camera like the D850, CFExpress wouldn’t provide any boost in performance. Be sure to get a USB XQD reader if you don’t already have one. They are much more expensive than SD cards unfortunately even in 2021. The speed alone is worth it. I can transfer a full memory card within minutes.

I literally had one of these run over buy a car and it survived. When I first had to make the switch to SD to these, I had sticker shock. But it's totally worth it. I <3 Sony XDQS. Love them more if I don't look at the receipt. Durable and I've never had an issue with Sony XQDs in the 5 years I have used them.

I have used a 64G XQD card in my D500 and it is fast and have never come close to using all the space. It's gr8 in my Z6 and D500! BTW, there is only one card slot for the Z6. The XQD is only made by Sony, not cheap but I never worry about it!

My new Nikon Z6 camera only takes an XQD card, so this purchase was a must have. Compared to XD, it's more expensive, but you get in return you get a much faster and more substantial accessory. Overall, I am impressed with it so far.

First time purchasing a XQD card. It is required in my new mirrorless camera. I am not a huge fan. It is expensive and I really liked my SD cards better. I had to buy a special adapter for my computers to be able to view files and I have learned XQD is going obsolete already. CFExpress cards are replacing them. However CFExpress cards are even more expensive and very difficult to find as well. If you can afford it, just get the CFExpress card now, so you don't end up buying them both as soon this will be obsolete.
