I tried buying these from Amazon but there a very lengthy delay, so looked for other places to purchase from. BestBuy is online, who knew - sorry guys but I didn't. Ordered and received within 2 -3 days. Was informed of delivery every step of the way too, same price as Amazon AND free delivery! So if I need anything else electronic I'll come here.

Its OEM, do not buy elsewhere, other places offer a similar battery at half the price with disappointing results. Anyway I would definitely recommend hobbyist or pro photographers. It's amazing size makes easier to carry around and shoot but my only concern is the battery life. It just drains out quickly and I would suggest an extra batteries. Hope Sony improves the battery life or supply more than 2 batteries. It would definitely help. Thank you Sony for making such a wonderful camera.

So I bought this battery after my last one went missing but it was a blessing in disguise. My last one was a generic brand and the battery life didn’t last long. It was very frustrating. I have had no issues with the battery life on this one. I have been able to go a full day taking photos without having to worry about it dying on me. I totally recommend for everyone.

Received empty box

I did this order as a drive-up pickup and unfortunately the box given to me was empty (I assume it was KT.) I immediately went in the store and explained what happened to the workers inside. They were extremely helpful to me and resolved my issue quickly. Love this battery and the camera I got previously to use it in. No complaints with value or quality.

Nothing beats the real deal...

Why take a risk on an expensive camera that can be damaged by a cheap battery? I have had cheap ones that ended up swelling and luckily was able to remove it before real damage was done to the camera body. These Sony batteries have built-in safety features that are made to work with Sony battery chargers. They are expensive initially but quite possibly cheaper in the long run, all things considered. I use the NP-FW50 in my Sony a6400.

Great for picture-taking enthusiasts!

It's terrible when you find that one thing that you'd love taking a picture of, but can't because your battery pack just died! Well, having this second fully charged battery pack has worked out great! It's somewhat bulky, but fits well in the pocket of the typical Sony camera bags. And I recommend buying this Sony name brand; works well with the a6000.
