Always always always go with Somy native batteries in your Sony device. Trust me. I know there’s a lot of budget options out there, but I would rather spend extra on a battery than have to replace a fried device.

This is a perfect match to go along with our original battery that came with our FDR-AX33 video camera. I film a lot of sport games for both our sons and daughter. This extra battery comes in handy so I can keep filming. Lasts just as good as the original for hours of recording.

Simply put it does what it is made to do.I bought this so I can use only 1 battery to film a long event like THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE without worrying about a smaller battery running out of power.This battery can last over 3 hours on 1 charge.I got it on sale too.

I originally bought the smaller one, the same size as the one in my new camcorder. I changed my mine as the price difference isn't that much, so bought the larger size. The size difference is about the same.

This is a great battery for my Sony ax 33 I definitely suggest getting this battery as it bigger the. The one that come with the camera and if your recording a lot it saves you from always having to be plugged in.
