    I thought this was a replacement for the original battery, however its much smaller and only lasts half as long.

    this is a replacement battery for my old sony camcorder. Wasn't sure if it would fit since it's a different part number then what is in the camcorder. It fit perfectly & charges camera great.

    I purchased this Sony camcorder battery for $ 40 more than a similar product on line, assuming it was made in Japan, not made in China. On arrival, I found that the label said, "Made in China."
