It allows video recording in 4K without problems. I'm very happy with this card. I do not own any device that supports type II cards, but I'm ready for future purchases that might. Also rapid fire action shots. This card is great for the Sony a6300. 64 gig is plenty for multiple action shots. The price is reasonable on this particular card.
