Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My A7 Series Sony Cam really needed this upgrade, i was using a SD card that was rated for 130 MB/s write speed and even with burst mode off id have issues with some files being corrupted, all these issues are now gone with the speed of this card!

SF-G series TOUGH specification UHS-II SD memory cards, the tough and fast SD card, 18 times stronger than standard SD card with an ultra rugged design that is bend-proof, drop-proof, waterproof, and dustproof, and up to "300MB/sec." read, "299MB/sec". I wanted to have the fastest read/write feature possible. Shooting in 60MP mode all the time. Plenty of room for lots of shooting. Purchase a second card for a back up. Recommend to all. Buy it.

Not cheap but the best UHS-II SD card

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased cheaper UHS-II cards from Hoodman, SanDisk and Lexar. They all function well, but they all lack a high write speed. If you have a decent or high end camera, that slow write speed can mean missed pictures as you’re stuck waiting for the pics that you’re taking in high speed capture mode to write to the card, even if you’re camera’s buffer is capable of handling more. So I eventually waited and saved up for the Sony G Tough card whose write speed is nearly as fast as it’s read speed. I will still use the other third party cards, but if I’m covering an event or doing a shoot where I’m shooting high speed action (like sports), then I use the Sony card.

I have not had any problems with it. I have seen horror stories on some camera forums where people tried to use other brands of cards they purchased at unbelievably low prices and lost all their photos. They were cheap for a reason. I am hoping their prices will drop so I can buy a larger card (they are same price everywhere)
