    Ok...... BUT!!! left earbud keeps dying

    I have always gone Sony with any music related purchase I make even though minimal. I constantly bought the same pair of earbuds for years from Sony because they were cheap and amazing, then i finally decided to make a small upgrade. I was a previous Best Buy employee and backed any product I had purchased and let me just say these earbuds are amazing but i am so disappointed in Sony for not making them a better quality. The LEFT earbud progressively dies within a weeks time after purchase. I am currently on my second pair and am going threw a circus to return them to the manufacturer. I am going to give them one last chance, lets hope the third time is the charm. If this next pair fails to work I will leave another review and ALERT anyone who decides to purchase these. If I still worked at Best Buy I would never let anyone walk out of the store with these, due to my current experience with them. STEP YOUR GAME UP SONY!

    Not worth $50

    Got these with high expectations since them came with a decent price tag on them and had pretty positive reviews. Pros: -Can play music loud -Mic works well with phone calls -Aesthetically pleasing Cons: -Hurts my ears physically after no more then 2 songs. -The only "extra bass" is the words written on the packaging. Otherwise I just don't hear it. -Too expensive Conclusion: I'm going to return these because in the end I wouldn't pay $10 for them. I've never had a set of earbuds the actually hurt my ears after only a few minutes of use. I've tried all the different ear piece sizes and it makes no difference. On top of that besides being able to play the music loud there is really no "extra bass" whatsoever. I'm just trying to find a good pair of headphones for while I'm at work and now I'm 0-2 with Sony (tried their wireless extra bass OTE and they wouldn't work right without the cord). Might be time to move on to some other brand I guess.

    Never buy these headphones

    I bought three pair of these headphones. After my husband using them for 2 months the protective coating on the headphone starting to give away. I contacted Sony in regards to this and was told that is not normal however it is not covered under warranty that we the consumer must have done something. I informed the associate it wearing them to the gym and to mow the lawn and then taking them in and out of your ear doe that I would say it is a product malfunction. However they replied, if the headphones were not like that when you bought them there is nothing we can do. DONE with sony, no more, TV, no more playstatiom, no more cameras I can find another brand who want to make a product and earn my business!

    Not worth it for what I needed

    I was on a business trip and my ear buds with voice capabilities wasn't working when I was speaking with people and needed to replace them. So I stop by Best Buy in Seaside looking for something to replace them. This was the second pair I tried to make work without luck while I was in the parking lot and tried to use them by making some calls and listen to music. I quickly discovered they weren't comfortable to me; had major distortion; and no ability to disconnect a call via the volume button (this last one I might be confusing between this and another one I tried right after). Suffice it that I finally found some Apple replacements for my iPhone 6 all was good.

    Ear buds bark

    I just picked up a pair of these after briefly scanning a few reviews about how good they sound. I'm heading straight back to the store to return them. They sound absolutely AWFUL! The packaging pitches them as having "EXTRA BASS"...There is nothing hitting my ears but harsh, higher end mid-range. The tone of these things literally hurts my ears. I bought these to replace a 6 year old set of Skull Candy buds I bought for $25 that I lost that were far superior in sound quality & balanced EQ. Needless to say...wouldn't recommend them.

    Do not recommend

    I like the various size ear buds. The color is nice, too. However, the smallest earbud doesn't work well for me..slightly too big still. It isn't uncomfortable, it is just really noticeable. In addition, each time the cable is touched in the slightest, I hear an echo. Unfortunately, Best Buy doesn't allow a return after 15 days. And i waited a bit before taking it out and now I am stuck with it. And the sound quality is okay.

    Don’t waste your money

    I bought these yesterday and I hate them. Sound is muffled like it’s being played through a cardboard box. These are normally $49. I had a pair of JVC’s that were half the price and sounded much better. There’s very little high frequency. It’s all focused on bass, which gives a very murky sound.

    I originally paid about $60 for these headphones. When the first pair was acting up, I took them to Best Buy with my receipt & had the replaced, no problem. When they were replaced, I was given $21 back because of price drop. These headphones are completely unreliable! They skip songs, the song speeds up, it's reception is awful. Such a waste of money! So frustrating. Do not bother!

    Microphone stopped working less than 2 months

    The microphone for the earbuds purchased less than 2 months back is completely shot. It was working on and off for about a week and completely stopped today. I quite didn't expect Sony to have such poor quality. I do understand I didn't pay premium (unlike as in Bose), however I hoped better from Sony. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

    Where is the Bass?

    I purchased these because they claimed to have extra Bass and I don’t hear any extra bass. The sound is good and it is good with noise cancellation. However they do claim to have extra bass which is why I purchased them and they lack that bass.

    Purchased headphones after reading reviews on Amazon. Appears to be a lot of duds with this model. Got home, plugged them in and started with poor sound. 40 seconds into song no sound. Fiddled with them some and still no sound. Will be returning and getting a different brand

    Not Quite!

    Not comfortable, won't stay in my ears, sound quality is poor. I purchased these, based on recommendations I saw here, and at the store, however these are definitely not worth the money. Spend a bit more, and get something better. I am truly unimpressed with these.

    Sony? Really?

    Although the sound is very good, the microphone is a totally different story. Three days after purchasing my headset, I had to return it because the microphone stopped working. Got a new one and 2 days after same thing happened. I am very disappointed!

    I didn't like these because the bass sounds hollow no matter what type of music I listened to. Also lacks high notes. I only gave it 1 star because of the quality of the headphones. very well built. other than that my $20 skull candy sound better.

    These are so so bad for the price point. I think the ten dollar headphones are better than this. I can hear the wire brushing against my jacket when I’m walking over the music..

    Despite being $20 more than the Apple Earpods these somehow sound 20x worse. The sound is super tinny, uncomfortable, and the inline controls aren't worth a **** in functionality with my iPhone. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

      - Hold down for about two seconds to reject an incoming call.
      - When you let go, two low beeps confirm the call was rejected.

    Great sound but will break quickly

    worked great for 2 months of 2hr use per day. after a while when plugging into a phone, you have to keep pressing the mic button otherwise the sound is distorted . its defective and i wouldnt recommend anyone buying it

    Basic sound quality, save up more money and get a more useful headset. Not good for sports use - so don't try running with these on because they will fall off.
