    Battery life doesn't last

Disappointed in battery life. Doesn't not last 6 hrs on a full charge. Also, the cord keeps pulling the right bud out when turn your head to the left. This is due to the bulky control box catching and not allowing the cord to move smoothly.

These aren't as handy as earbuds by Apple, but they have a good sound. I don't like that the wire pulls on my hair when hanging down on my neck.

My daughter got this for Christmas. While she loved it, she did not like the cord around the earbuds and chose to go with the Apple AirPods as it was fully wireless.

Earbuds don't stay in my ears. Cord is unbalanced and isn't comfortable in front of nor behind my neck. Overall, a bad purchase by me

These earphones remind me a lot of the Sony WI-1000X in sound quality and features which is a very good thing. These definitely have a lot of bass compared to most earbuds though it isn't overpowering. If you don't like all of the bass you can always change the EQ settings in the Sony Headphones app. The ANC is very good as well as the Ambient Sound mode. The only issues I have are with the controls and cord. In my opinion the cord connecting the earphones is much too short which can be fine if you have them in your ears, but if you have them sitting around your neck while you'ren't using them they can fall off very easily. The remote gives you lots of different controls but it is very small at less than 2 inches. You get all the controls you would need but the remote can weigh down the headphones and it can be hard to tell what you're pressing because you can't see any of the buttons. I realize that those are small gripes but they just frustrate me a little bit in day-to-day use.

I really love the sound of the BASS on these and I loved the color, but the wires are too short and I found it hard to keep the ear pieces in my ear. Exchanged for Bose wireless . . Much better Choice.

    Go for the SP700N

These are basically the same as the SP700N except with a somewhat annoying wire that you have to deal with. If you're more for convenience and can spend a few more dollars on an upgrade, I would recommend the SP700N instead. Just like with the SP700N, the noise cancelling is a bit questionable and I would expect more at this price point. But it gets the job done.

Bought this headset as a gift, l used it once and it sounded good. Not Quite as good as my Bose but the price was much better and there are no cords. My wife has an android tablet and this will only work with iOS. Also she does not like that the cord against her neck. Overall I would say this is a very good product If you know going in you can only use it with your iPhone or iPad.

The sound quality is really good. I was able to wear them for several hours comfortably and the battery life was a little over the stated battery life. The only item I think could be made better was the length of the wire. I wore them with a shirt with a collar and it tended to get in the way. I realize that these are primarily sports earbuds so it wasn't a big issue.

So like any Bluetooth headset, this is a piece of cake to setup. Start Pairing (single button), and then match on your device... done. good to go. Power is by the standard Micro-USB The AUDIO on these are loud, and clear. The noise canceling was very good. I was able to hear CLEAR music, while I was cutting the lawn (with an electric lawn mower). The downside; the volume, charge, connector portion of the device is bulky... It was dominant on my left side, and was pulling the wire that way the entire time using it. Often catching on my shirt, and pulling out one (or both) of the ears.

I thought I would like to have a pair of wireless headphones for use with my iPod when walking but I'm not impressed by the sound of these at all, no matter what setting I had them on they still had a very tin sound, I don't know where the extra bass was that's advertised. Also they are not completely wireless, they are connected together with a wire which hangs either around your chin or the back of your neck, there is volume, play, fast forward, rewind control on the wire but you have to take them off or memorize where the controls are because you can't see them. You need the headphones app to change settings & would be best to control the headphones with. Noise cancelling wasn't really good either because I could still hear everything going on around me. They are waterproof & charge with a usb cable, sound is pretty loud and you get about 6 hrs playback time. Can be used with iPhone, iPod or android & hands free calling, google assist. USB cable is included as well as a few different sizes of silicone ear buds to fit all sizes. Set up & connection was easy but as far as sound goes, I'll stick to my wired headphones.

The first day I got them, after charging for an hour and a half, I just paired them directly to my Samsung Galaxy S6+ via Bluetooth which couldn't have been easier and was found instantly. Since I had to got to work and I really just wanted to see how they sounded using my phone as an mp3 player, I just used the Samsung music. After making a few adjustments in the app through the equalizer and wow, I couldn't believe how good my music sounded on the Sony SP600N and they sound as good as the Sony WI1000X headphones and slightly better than the JBL Under Armour Flex Wireless behind-the-neck headphones. I believe that the sp600n headphones are more comfortable than the behind-the-neck headphones with the slightly annoying controller box wired into the wire on the left side and pulls towards that side. It'sn't a deal breaker but it is worth noting. I didn't download the app for a few day's and when I finally did was before going to work driving a truck so I could test out the noise cancellation. When I installed the Sony headphones app, they also give you the option of installing the Sony Music app which I did along with some other apps but these we're the only two that I downloaded. So that night through the next morning I tried calling 3 different people and it didn't seem to matter who I called or which settings I turned on or off. Every call was terrible and had static that I was unable to correct whether or not I used the noise cancellation or not and so I decided to try my JBL Under Armour Flex Wireless behind-the-neck headphones and they sounded perfect to both myself and whoever I was talking to on the line. I have not yet tried uninstalling the app's yet but will be doing that today before going to work in order to figure out where the static problems are coming from but i'm pretty sure that one of the app's are causing the static, so unfortunately I can only give the Sony SP600N semi wireless headphones a 4 until I can figure out what is causing the static during calls and the short battery life when using the noise cancellation. The battery life wasn't to bad before installing the app when I was only listening to music they lasted for a little over 5 hour's but after installing the app's and only using them for phone calls with using noise cancellation for 4 of the 7 calls and I was only able to get 3 1/2 hour's which isn't very good and once the static problems are solved then I'll try them again for calling without the NC to see how much difference that makes and if i'm able to solve the static and battery issue's then I'll post an update.

Great headphones! Couple of things. You get what you pay for. These are not 100% noise canceling like advertised. You still hear outside noise versus none period unless you turn the volume up and bust your eardrums. The control device on the cord is a little heavy but you get use to it. The fit is great and really comfortable. Easy to charge. Long battery life. I use them with my iPod which isn't above a iOS 9 so the app doesn't work. I first bought the latest jaybird but really disliked the fit. All in all these are nice headphones, comfortable, and have a great bass.

    Strong Bass for Sports Headphones

I'm used to exercising with sports headphones that securely clip over the ear, so I was skeptical that these would stay in place. Thanks to the unique design of the earpieces, they stayed secure about 90% of the time. Definitely better than others I've tried. I've long hair which causes a bit of drag & pull on the cord. When my hair is up & not a factor, they still didn't feel completely secure. I also don't care for the feel of the cord on the back of my neck, especially when sweaty. It becomes irritating after a while. I was very impressed with the sound. These are the first in-ear sports phones I've tried that have good bass. Sound is full & crisp. Also, the Sony App has an equalizer and many other options to tweak to your liking. Bluetooth connectivity is flawless & easy to pair. The noise canceling feature is only slightly noticeable & about the same as others I've tried in this category. The only true NC I've experienced comes from a full over-the-ear style headphone. Overall, I'd say sound quality is five stars & comfort/security is three stars.

Simple Review: For what it's amazing to do which is be a lightweight headset with noise cancelation, I would easily recommend this to friends and family. Extended Review: Starting with what you get in the box...pretty plain jane. Unit, charging cable and that's about it. What I wasn't a fan of is that we still have mice USB cable chargers. It should be USB C for the money but small gripe. Performance is where this baby shines. Sound is good out if the box but once you customize it with the app so much better. For me it does lose a star that it didn't sound amazing out of the box. Treble was ear bleeding high but a little tweak in the app goes a long way. Battery life was great getting about 10 hours with noise canceling off but if you turn it on a bit under that 6 hour mark. So it might not do a whole plane ride depending on where your going but you can find ways to make it work for you. It's a good headset, even a great one, for the money I dont think I would tell someone not to get it. I feel it's easily worth the price and I hope my review helps you decide on making that purchase. Thanks

I have been using wireless headsets for a while now. Not really for the sound but for the convenience of not having to mess around with cords going to my phone. I have bought and checked several brands and models including true wireless (no cable whatsoever). So I am putting my 2 cents from a bit of experience. Well, the SP600N so far have not disappointed me one bit. At the beginning, I must say that it was a bit awkward to place the ear inserts properly and not notice them. Bose uses the same wings but the silicone is much softer. However, I got used to them rather quickly. Also, they can be a bit heavy, especially noticeable if you are used to small in-ear buds such as the Apple Pods. They managed to stay on my ears and did not fall off no matter what activity I was doing (I practice parkour). The cable did not bother me at all. Now, usually the sound can be lackluster in wireless headsets. However, while not audiophile worthy, these sets produce a pleasant sound signature that does have a bit of enhancement on the lower frequencies (bass). The mid and lower rage is not sacrificed and is nicely present. My only concern is that they do block ambient noise and that can affect awareness while running, especially if you are using the noise cancellation option, but they also feature an "ambient sound mode" that allows outside sounds in. However, this will also negatively affect the sound fidelity greatly. Overall, I think this is a great value. So much that I bought my son a pair. I highly recommended it!

I got these on a replacement plan because my previous Razer Hammerhead BTs broke. I was excited at first to use Sony and then was disappointed later when I used them. Returned them a day later and the reasons are listed below. I used to DJ so I have a lot of experience with headphones sound quality and features so please use this review to your advantage. Pros- Decent sound & good bass and seemed to have a long range connectivity wise. Cons- Noise cancelling feature and ambient noise is garbage. You hear echo and background noise is amplified on every phone call making it annoying to talk on the phone. I tried cycling through all the settings and its still horrible doesn't even make sense why they do that but terrible for phone use. @@@@@@@@ Granted my work environment is loud) this makes it even worse to try and talk hearing yourself and everything around you amplified even when in off position. Even when you are not listening to music or on a call and they sit in your ear you can hear a low echo or hiss at all times. - No track >> / << or skip option. I mean its headphones for music so the fact that you cant change or cycle through music is stupid IMO especially from a company that's known for music. TERRIBLE even $10 ones can do that. - The cord is left side heavy with controls so you feel the cord tighten on your neck as it always seems to drag to the left side riding up the right side of your neck always having to adjust them adjusting them. After having previous wired Sony headphones in the past and coming back to Sony years later for wireless I must say that I will never buy another Sony Headphone product. I was skeptical on getting these cause even older pairs were always just ok. Very disappointed. I will go without headphones for a few days until they restock the Razer Hammerhead BT. Hands down best headphones for music and functionality, comfort and overall features and attention to detail.

    Sony, What?

    Posted
    thelqh

Sony is known for their amazing sound, great design and overall market dominance in so many areas (TV, sound systems, headphones, etc.), but with this, I'm really questioning why things are the way they're. Sound: These headphones sound fine. I mean, I enjoy a lot of bass and the EQ settings in the app make that great. Everything is clear and with the sound isolation from the earbuds and "noise cancelling", if you could even call it that, they're great for a lot. Design: What in the heck is this design? The earbuds are MASSIVE and look really bulky. I really like the material, but they're extremely heavy and just hard to get around. They also didn't include a carrying case or smaller fins (in my packaging they didn't even include the large ones). This is a major misstep for Sony at this price point where earbuds that are less expensive have these options. The controller is HUGE. Everything about this design seems like it was made way too big. It's positioned over your left shoulder so it's always bogging that side down, leading to some sealing issues with the left ear bud and constant falling over. It's way too big for what it needs to do, and honestly, Sony needs to implement USB-C. Comfort/Fit: These HURT. None of the included eartips fit my ear and the fins hurt really bad after a while. I wish they followed JayBird's example and included some foam ear tips or at least some better wings. If they don't have the wings, they're falling out and if they do, they're just plain uncomfortable. For $150, These are way too poorly designed for me to enjoy wearing them. The charging cable is poor quality, the sound cuts out sometimes when the phone is switching between apps, and the final point: Sound Cancellation/Ambient Noise: Okay, the Ambient Noise feature is great. I can hear myself talking and it doesn't sound like I'm underwater when I'm on the phone. Phone calls have been fine so far and the other party can hear me just fine. However, when we switch to noise cancellation, it honestly sounds exactly the same as when you have just the earbuds in your ear -- there's no noticeable difference like when you're wearing other active noise cancelling headphones. Overall: So many design flaws for an otherwise decent product make this a 1/5 for me. I can't stand companies with massive design teams and budgets making these kinds of mistakes. Connectivity issues, uncomfortable fit, and awkward and bulky design on SPORT headphones should not be a thing. I'd say ditch the NFC (unnecessary) and keep everything else with a slimmer profile and you might have yourself a better product.

Solid Product - Audio Quality is Subjective

Overall I am pretty pleased with this system. It checks all the boxes most people would want in a sport headphone system. For the record, I primarily use my mobile device with an android app (G-Mad) for playback. With these ear bud based headphones, and playing back with the equalizer set to 'Flat', the Extra Bass functionality is exceptional and performs as I would expect from Sony. That said - the sound quality aspect of anything audio based is totally subjective and is influenced by variations in the human ear. Although not horrible, I did find these ear phones to be slightly muddied in playback quality compared to another set I will be writing a review for shortly. Again, not horrible - but noticeable to my ears and listening preferences. YMMV ! Pros: This system comes with 4 sets of ear pieces varying in size so finding the perfect fit shouldn't be a problem for most people. I find the smallest size the most comfortable and they stay put even during a lot of activity & motion. Extra Bass functionality is solid! The audio guidance system is great. The controls on the in line module are easy to adapt to once you've used them for a day. In other words - very intuitive. Battery performance is excellent. Cons: The interconnecting wire between the buds and the control unit could be a tad bit longer for those with bigger upper body structures. The Ambient function needs a little tweaking. It works but not as well I had anticipated. The same goes with the noise cancelling - but then again - these aren't structurally designed like the more preeminently available, top-of-the-line models from the leader in the noise cancelling headphone segment. The "B" company. Sound is slightly muddy at times but your mileage (experience) may vary. Not consistently horrible but a little noticeable. That's all. All this said, I would still recommend these to friends, families and just about anyone else. Give 'em a try!
