Was anxious to receive this complimentary Sony WI-SP600N, Sports Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphone set for evaluation while going through my running and workout paces. And, after two weeks of running and working out, alternately, every other day, I am super-impressed. These are the best ear buds I have ever used to go through the tortures of bouncing up and down while running. They stayed snugly in my ear while delivering crisp, clear, powerful sound. This whole unit, earbuds, earwings, wires and control unit, weighs less then two ounces. It was easy to run and exercise wearing this lightweight unit. I no longer have to deal with a bothersome neckband rubbing against the back of my neck. And, I can use Siri to make my hands free, phone calls too. How cool is that? ***Sound*** > For physically active sports the sound quality is just as important as the snug and reliable fit of these wireless, in-ear headphones. Sony designed this set so I can use 'Noise Canceling' when I activate it, and, or allow Ambient Sound through in two different settings. 'Normal', for safety in an outdoor environment like around auto traffic. And, 'Voice' for gym workouts to hear an instructor or buddy, and, or with a running partner like I do every other day. > Headphones Connect App – Can be downloaded for Free at the Apple or Google Play Stores. The App allows you to turn ON the Quick Sound Settings, which enables you to set the Ambient Sound Control and Equalizer Presets. The App on your smartphone or device can control switching between the two Ambient Sound Modes, Normal and Voice, and the Noise Canceling mode. The EQ Presets are Bright, Excited, Mellow, Relaxed, Vocal, Treble Boost, Bass Boost, Speech, and OFF. I personally like the Excited Preset because it has the highest bass setting (+8) over Bass Boost (+7), which I prefer for my workouts. Excited features more of the kick drum, deep bass, whereas Bass Boost accentuates the low end of acoustic guitar, piano, and deeper notes of vocalists while providing a punch for robust bass tones. Although you cannot adjust any of the EQ settings you can have FUN using the eight presets according to your musical genre choices. The App also displays what music is playing, battery power, along with your choice of Sound Quality Mode, priority on Sound Quality or Stable Connection. The APP also remembers all of your last settings. > Noise Cancellation – I found that this is a two step process. First, Passive Noise Cancellation. It is super important to match the appropriate eartip and earwing to fit your ear correctly. I started out using the large sizes, which is the best for me. These eartips are softly cushioned and elongated, which really helped me to get the right fit. Yet, they are still comfortable in my ears. WooHoo! The active Noise Cancellation feature is superior to other sets I have used for sports, in-ear headphones. However, there is no comparison to over-the-ear headphones. It uses the two built-in microphones on the earbuds to sense outside noise and sends an equal-but-opposite canceling signal to the unit. The Noise Cancellation feature is engineered to work in the low frequency band. It does reduce the ambient sound, but NOT cancel it out completely. The majority of the time I wear and use these I have the ambient sound to 'Normal' or 'Voice' so I can workout and run with a partner. > Notification Sounds – This Sony alerts you when the unit is powered ON and OFF. It also lets you know the status of the battery level and Bluetooth Pairing. ***What's In The Box?*** > Sony WI-SP600N Wireless Noise-Canceling In-Ear Sports Headphones. > Arc Supporters – Two sets, one Medium and one Large. > Hybrid Eartips – Four sets, Extra Small, Small, Medium, and Large. > Charge Cable - Micro-USB Cable. ***Other Sony WI-SP600N Features:*** > IPX4 Rating – Can tolerate perspiration, light rain, and splashes. Be aware they are not waterproof. Oddly enough, the Noise Cancellation feature works better for me after a workout or run. I think the perspiration moisture in my ear makes for a better seal with the eartips. > Battery Life - It takes approximately one and half hours to fully charge, which will last approximately six hours according to Sony. At the volume level I set I got around five hours of continued use. There is a red LED indicator light ON while charging and OFF when fully charged. > On Board Controls – They are simple and it is an easy learning curve to master. By the third day I was on top of it. However, Sony Connected App is simpler to use. > Bluetooth and NFC Connectivity – Pairing is simple and quick, Bluetooth Version 4.1. > Cleans Easily – Sony recommends to clean the earbuds with a mild detergent solution, then thoroughly dry with a clean cloth. > Charging Unit – Using the Micro-USB Cable to a USB port on a computer, laptop, or tablet. A commercially available USB AC adapter capable of feeding in more than 0.5 A (500 mA) can also be used. > Smartphone Digital Assistant – Voice Assist using Google App or I-Phone, Siri. > One Year Warranty. ***Wish It Had:*** > Would have been nice to have a small carrying bag for storage to and from the gym. > The Sony Connect App does not stay ON. You have to switch back to your smartphone screen to turn it back ON each time you want to use it. > A user adjustable Equalizer to allow personal, customization settings instead of the eight Presets. ***Conclusion*** > The sound quality is absolutely amazing for in-ear headphones once you match the correct fitting eartips and earwings for effective, Passive Noise Cancellation. The Active Noise Cancellation is topnotch for sports in-ear headphones. The two channel separation is terrific along with the extra bass. The elongated Hybrid silicone rubber earbuds provide a snug, but comfortable fit in your ear, which is great for physical activities. Along with the earwings they will keep your unit secure during heavy workouts or running. > I highly recommend the purchase of this Sony WI-SP600N, Sports Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones. This would make an outstanding gift for a physically active family member, friend, or loved one. It would also make a great gift to yourself.

Sony SP600N Sports Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones deliver incredible bass and are the most comfortable earbuds I own. Here are highlights: 1- Comfortable because of the ear stabilizer (they do not fall out of your ears) and excellent weight balance (they are not heavy where the wire connects, so they do not try to pull out of your ears). 2- Light weight makes all day listening a pleasure. 3- Modern Bluetooth 4.1 provides 30-40 feet of easy connectivity & draws very little power. 4- Long battery life (up to 6 hours with noise reduction activated). 5- Sony Extra Bass features amazing on these earbuds! Simply install the free Sony Headphone App. 6- Highly configurable features let you choose the level of noise reduction (isolation); or do you prefer to blend in ambient sound? Equalization? Extra Bass? Just turn on this free app and the variations to the sound / noise reduction effects you control are stunning. 7- Microphone does double duty. The microphone built into the "pod" on the left side serves as the mic for telephone calls & picks up the sound that you can cancel via the app. 8- Attractive design. 9- Splash & sweat resistant (IPX4). 10- Three different sized ear pieces are included to ensure the perfect fit. Take time to try them all. The seal with your ear canal is critical to the sound quality (especially the bass) & the noise reduction. CONCLUSION: You will be hard pressed to find a pair of in-ear headphones (earbuds) that outperform the Sony SP600N in this attractive price range. Especially considering their superlative sound quality & comfort. They earn my Highest Recommendation!

    True Noise Cancelling for Sports

The SP600N headphones fall into a hard-to-find category: True noise cancelling (not just "noise reducing") headphones designed for sports. No band around your neck, no bulky earphones, just small, easy-to-wear headphones with active noise cancelling that works quite well. While the cancelling capabilities are not as good as Sony's 1000-series, they are still excellent in their capability of blocking out the outside noise, which is good if you're in the gym having to listen to their garbage being pumped overhead. The noise cancellation can be controlled with a button on the headphones or the app, with the ability to be in full noise cancellation mode, ambient sound mode (where the microphones intentionally allow outside noise in), or noise cancellation off. Active noise cancellation obviously is the best, but uses the most battery. Ambient is great when using these while walking, running, or biking, allowing you to hear traffic or others around you, while "off" makes them just regular old headphones without any of the bonus features. One disappointment was the fact that unlike the 1000-series, the headphones or the app won't switch into different modes based on your detected activity (the 1000's will tell if you're riding on bus or train & go full cancellation, or if you're walking or running & go into ambient mode). Instead, you have to toggle these manually. The only other disappointment is when you touch the headphones when they're in your ear they amplify that touching noise based on the placement of the mics in the earphones themselves. Battery life is excellent, getting more than 8 hours easily in full cancellation mode. Comfort is also quite good with multiple sizes of silicone earbuds included. They also include pieces to help secure these inside the folds of your ear for better fit when active. The buttons for controlling the features are also a treat. Each button is shaped or covered differently, making it easy to find volume, play/pause control, on/off, and noise cancellation modes. Most other headphones you have to fumble to find the right button or take the headphones off altogether to activate something. Overall, these are excellent headphones with great noise cancelling capabilities in a true sports/active headphone.

Even though "true wireless" headphones are in the spotlight, companies are still releasing traditional wireless headphones that are connected by a wire. While not as glamarous, they typically have longer battery life and provide a more stable connection, probably due to larger antennas. The Sony WI-SP600N Wireless In-ear Sports Headphones are of that design, with the biggest feature being active digital noise cancelation in a sweat-resistant set designed to stand up to active workouts. From a design-perspective, it actually has an asymmetrical design with a largish module that dangles closer to the left side which houses a number of physical buttons plus the covered microUSB charging port. As you'd expect, multiple sizes of earbuds are included so you can hopefully get a good fit, which is essential for maximizing the sound quality. Going back to the module, all the expected buttons for play/pause and volume and power are joined by a button that toggles between active noise cancellation, ambient sound mode, and no noise cancellation. I found that the noise canceling worked well, much more like the Sony WI-1000X than the Sony WH-CH700N; I'm not sure if that if it just more effective on in-ear headphones or not. In Ambient Sound Mode, it actually uses the microphone to bring in some of the outside sounds, if that's what you're looking for. Sony has a companion mobile app "Sony Headphones Connect" that works with most of their Bluetooth headphones, these included. With the app, you can access some additional settings such as equalization settings. On both iPhone and Android, AAC is the codec I see used, which sounds pretty good. I was a little disappointed that aptX, aptX HD, and Sony's own LDAC are not supported, but AAC still sounded pretty good with tolerable latency. Battery life is reported natively in both iOS and Android, as well as audibly by tapping the power button. On phone calls, call audio goes through both earbuds which is nice, as some sets only send phone audio to one. Overall, I really enjoyed the bass response and overall sound of this headset, and the noise canceling works as expected. The IPX4 water resistance means I can enjoy great sound while working out at the gym without worrying damage caused by sweat.

Sony’s new SP600N headphones are a total surprise in this line of earbud-based headphones. They are incredibly comfortable in the ear, they are easy to control, they include an active noise cancellation feature, and the sound (especially the bass) is fantastic. It is a little curious that the control feature for this set is located behind the left ear for a change - the control module looked a little oddly designed but I found it to be the easiest layout for control of any wireless headphone set I have ever used - it is sufficiently intuitive so your fingers just seem to know how to operate things - there is no learning curve. The individual earpieces fit very naturally in my ears (and of course there are different sized interchangeable tips for people with different sized ears) - and even though they didn’t feel intrusive or unnatural, neither did they ever feel like there were threatening to fall out during exercise. The active noise cancellation features works OK but don’t expect the performance to rival that of over-the-ear headphones (whose padding goes a long way to isolate you from environmental disturbances). But ultimately, I think it’s the sound that separates these headphones from others of similar design - music sounds full and clear and natural - the bass response was pretty surprising. In general, it’s just hard to find satisfying bluetooth earbuds that approximate the sound you can get with some better quality wired earbuds - but I think these are doing a fine job.

Let me start by saying you cannot have enough headphones for different things. These headphones excel in my day to day travels as a tech guy, out and about, but also when I'm working from my desk. Why? They are connected with a wire, and can hang around my neck when I'm not using them. But they are always with me and not having to put them in my pocket or whatever. As for sound, they are amazing. Using as a phone headset, they are better than some, not as good as others. They are tinny sounding and the weird part is hearing yourself talk while you are speaking. I didn't like this effect and often returned to using my phone or phone's speaker to speak on calls. The sound is incredible, and the noise cancelling part is very amazing. There is an app that lets you adjust them according to your preferences. I like this because sometimes I'd prefer to adjust for more bass, or more treble depending upon the genre I'm listening to. They last all day on a single charge, and they are on the whole time. I don't turn them off until I get done for the day. Charging is done via the standard micro-usb connection & a charger. A cable is included for charging, but not the charger, pretty much standard these days. These go all the way into the ear canal, and as such you'll filter out the noise around you - if using these while out and about, realize you might not hear a car horn or siren until last minute, so use with caution. Mostly these are my "go to" headphones/earphones because they last all day, they can be hung around my neck, and have decent sound quality. Every speaker and headphone set that are from Sony these days is simply amazing. I can tell that Sony has re-visited what they are providing in the audio world, this is no exception. You'll find that there are a million choices out there today with headphones. Having tried quite a few of these, I'll tell you that Sony headphones are a solid choice. Best Buy has a great return policy and if these don't work for you, you can return them and try something else. If you have really thought it through, you might find this style works for you, maybe for parts of your day. As I said earlier, you can never have enough headphones for different purposes.

The Sony SP600N Sports wireless noise cancelling headphones, sound great, look great and feel great. I’ve owned a few different pair of sport headphones and these have quickly become my favorite. The lightweight design with the long tip hybrid silicone earbuds and the silicone ear stabilizers make these incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They are splash and sweat resistant so you can work out and sweat without having to worry about damaging them. Even though they are sweat resistant you should always dry them off before putting them away to ensure they don’t get dirty or damaged over time. At first I thought that the weight of the control module, being more on the left side, would pull the earbuds out with motion or lots of activity but I haven’t had that problem at all. The sound quality is really great overall, the bass, mids and highs are all very clear and the noise cancellation works fantastically. There is also an ambient noise option which blocks a lot of noise while still allowing voices to come through. The Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity works perfectly without any skipping or choppy music, it also allows me to venture up to 40 foot away from my device without any issues. I really appreciate that these headphones have NFC so that I can just tap my cell phone to them and they connect automatically, it’s a nice feature and should be included in all headphones and speakers in my opinion. The battery life is slightly above standard, lasting up to 12 hours with the noise cancelling off and about 6 hours of continuous use with the noise cancelling on. Charging takes about 2-3 hours for a full charge using the included micro USB to USB cord. Overall I’m very pleased with these headphones, Sony really knows sound and it’s evident in these headphones. My only drawback is that they didn’t come with a carry case, pouch or anything to put them in while not in use. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of headphones to wear while working out or doing other physical activities.

I have long been a Sony fan for entertainment electronics, and the SP600N does not disappoint. In the box, in addition to the headphones, are a USB cable for charging and several sizes of soft ear bud covers. First charge the battery, download the app from either Google Play or the Apple Store (Yes, it works on either.), then make a Bluetooth connection to your music source, and you are good to go. For my intended use, listening to music on my deck, I Bluetooth connected the phones to my Amazon Echo, which was a very quick and easy process. It didn’t even require an app download. When up and running, I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality (treble and bass). Then, out to the deck, and the music stayed with me, and it stayed with me on out into the backyard. The bottom line is, there is no loss of sound quality within a very reasonable parameter. Since the first test, I’ve noticed occasional sputtering when outside, but it’s not enough to condemn the phones. I might take off half a star, but only whole numbers allowed, and it is more 5 star than 4. Another very nice feature is noise cancelling, and I can attest to the job these phones do. While I was on the deck, lawn mowing and yard maintenance was being done. The loud noise from the gas powered weed/grass trimmer was greatly diminished and did not prevent me from enjoying my music. Lesser sounds were simply unheard. My only issue is one that I have with all similar devices. It’s the tiny little controls that are difficult to see, as they are the same color as the device itself. In this case, it’s white on white. Small devices require even smaller controls, so one deals with it. However, that issue has no bearing on the quality sound reproduction from the SP600N. For my use, the size of the controls doesn’t matter; because, with the Echo connection, I can control it by voice via Alexa. So, it’s all good. If you want big sound from a practically weightless device and not be bothered by peripheral noise, you won’t go wrong with the SP600N!

I have been using wireless headsets for a while now. Not really for the sound but for the convenience of not having to mess around with cords going to my phone. I have bought and checked several brands and models including true wireless (no cable whatsoever). So I am putting my 2 cents from a bit of experience. Well, the SP600N so far have not disappointed me one bit. At the beginning, I must say that it was a bit awkward to place the ear inserts properly and not notice them. Bose uses the same wings but the silicone is much softer. However, I got used to them rather quickly. Also, they can be a bit heavy, especially noticeable if you are used to small in-ear buds such as the Apple Pods. They managed to stay on my ears and did not fall off no matter what activity I was doing (I practice parkour). The cable did not bother me at all. Now, usually the sound can be lackluster in wireless headsets. However, while not audiophile worthy, these sets produce a pleasant sound signature that does have a bit of enhancement on the lower frequencies (bass). The mid and lower rage is not sacrificed and is nicely present. My only concern is that they do block ambient noise and that can affect awareness while running, especially if you are using the noise cancellation option, but they also feature an "ambient sound mode" that allows outside sounds in. However, this will also negatively affect the sound fidelity greatly. Overall, I think this is a great value. So much that I bought my son a pair. I highly recommended it!

The SONY SP600N are among the elite of wireless in-ear-buds. At one time most ear-buds had identical right and left design and basically were a button that kept falling out of your ears when you jogged. The button types are fine if you are lounging or just slowly moving about. These Sony buds are the newest design with the ‘little wings’ on each ear-bud. Each fits it’s own ear and you do get several insert sizes to try so that you can get the perfect fit. These ear-buds were the easiest to insert, the little wing is soft but strong and it tucks somewhat automatically inside your ear so that you now have a solid fit but very comfortable. I jogged around a few miles with no trouble. I do recommend you gently wipe sweat off after a workout, and they are water resistant. You can wear eye-glasses easily and comfortably as well with this design. The ear-buds are very clearly marked right and left. I don’t take that for granted and some buds can irritate you if the markings are too subtle. The sound is one of the best I have found. In addition, you have noise cancelling or you can allow ambient sound in so you can listen to conversations and music at the same time. The controls are very intuitive and of course you have a microphone for cell phone calls. Pairing went super easy both for phone and for my laptop. You can also pair with NFC. I liked that you can adjust the volume easily and you can wear the wire that connects the buds either behind your neck or in front – very well designed. They feel solid but not too heavy. You don’t get an AC charger but you do get the micro-USB to USB cable. I would highly recommend these ear-buds and the price for what you get is excellent.

I'll admit it; I'm a Sony guy. I have MDR-1000x units for travel and I was also using them for training at the gym. However, the downside of using the MDR-1000X for training is that the earpads smell awful and need almost daily cleanings / washings. That being said, I bought these to replace those headphones for training. The headphones themselves deliver on all of the promises you expect. The standard sound is fantastic, but I like my bass and you can crank it up to however you want to make it shatter in your ear. The noise cancelling allows you to comfortably listen to music while you train at lower volumes to protect your ears. There's zero ear pressure detected when active. The "ambient sound" mode works great. It's not as good as the MDR-1000x series lineup, but it's still very good. The only issue I have is that the battery life is around 5 hours so I find myself charging these daily. The ear plugs fit nice and snug and come in many sizes to fit your ears. My complaint? The charging hub / control unit is slightly heavy and hangs from the left ear. It has a tendency to get caught on your shirt and begin pulling the ear plug out from the right ear, so I find myself constantly smacking it back behind my head. The controls are easy to use. All in all, the sound is incredible and despite the meh battery life, it delivers in every regard.

Setup is very simple for SONY SP600N headset after downloading SONY Headphones app either from Android or iOS. I was able to pair my iPhone with headset after following instructions. This headset is really a good fit for people who do exercise. The sound quality is great as you expect from SONY headsets. The vocals are crisp and clear and well balanced. It has noise cancellation mode and ambient sound mode. The battery quality is good as well and it last around 6 hours. It has IPX4 rating for water or sweat resistant and it is not waterproof. It fits perfectly on ears and there is no discomfort even if you use for a long time. The SONY connect app has lot of great features to view battery life, preset equalizers adjustment, noise cancellation and ambient sound. It is really lightweight headset with Bluetooth 4.1, great battery life, solid design and excellent fit on ears. SONY SP600N is exceeded my expectations and it is a good product with reasonable price.

Been using Jaybird earbuds for about a year now and these Sony SP600N completely destroy the Jaybird attempt. These are so much better and pretty much an on-neck version of the Sony SP700 and if you know those then you know those are amazing earbuds. All the same, features are here just with shorter battery life. Digital Noise Canceling is great blocking out a range of sound, IPX4-rated for sweat resistance, Lightweight around your neck and in your ear, Great microphone for phone calls. Deep strong bass with Sony's Signature Xtra bass keeps the party going, Bluetooth technology and NFC which is great for pairing (and get ready iPhone users, 3rd party NFC is rumor to come so you might be able to use pair this easy in the future with iPhones but for now you have to use Bluetooth. I listen to a wide range of music including Rap, R&B electronic, and ambient based and I've found the SP600N to be pretty well balanced and enjoyable with every range I was testing. They sound fantastic giving that super strong punchy bass. If I have anything bad to say is the fact that it should have been rechargeable with USB-C. I love the headphones but if I had the money I would go for Sony true wireless vision of earbuds SP700 but these are the next best thing!

The first thing I noticed about these headphones was the quality and clarity of the bass. Right out of the package they sounded clear with a deep sound quality. I was actually a little surprised because I have several similar style headphones and it is rare to have this good of sound quality. Also, the volume can sometimes be soft on wireless headphones but the volume on these is as much as needed. Also, the noise cancelation seems to work well but it is hard to tell because with the tight fit in the ear, most of the background noise is already dimmed. Other nice things about these headphones are the app support and the battery size. The battery is stated to last 6 hours. I haven't used them that long without charging but have gotten pretty close. Also, the headphones worked with the Sony app I already had installed on my phone. I went into the music app and clicked on the headphones link. It took me to the headphones app and from there you can apply updates, turn the ambient noise on or off, set the noise canceling, and use an equalizer function to get the sound exactly how you like it. Overall, I like the fit, sound and style of these headphones and would highly recommend them.

With Sony, I've come to expect great sound and some questionable aesthetics. The Sports Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones surprised me a bit by providing the full, rich ambiance and a headset that was comfortable, had sensible button-placement, and was usable in both high motion activities (like exercise and biking) and during low action usage (commuting, sitting at a desk). Pairing was simple and the buttons worked well and are positioned nicely on the side, though I prefer the hanging style of these active headsets to the earbud buttons of "true wireless" headsets. The product took some getting used to fitting into my ears, however, and there are only two sets of size options so there isn't much wiggle room. I was able to get used to the smaller size, and over time it rested fairly well inside the ear without much worry about accidental drops or falls. These headphones work very well, and I've grown to find them very comfortable. I've enjoyed the long battery life and the excellent noise cancellation feature. And of course, the sound quality is wonderful. I highly recommend this product. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

Flew from LAX to Portland with a $29 headphone bought online. Thought I could watch a movie or two with it in-flight, but all I heard was the plane engine. With upcoming flight back to LA, I headed to the nearest BestBuy in Portland for a noise cancelling earbud (because I needed the earbud to be also usable for running). I initially mistrusted the Sony because of the price compared to the Beats or Bose. I thought there must something wrong with this product. But, I gave it a try and I have to say, it is very good. It cancels background noise efficiently: the sound of the movie I was watching back to LAX (same movie I saw flying to Portland for comparison) sounded very clear and no engine sound interfering. It also provides runners the ability to minimize or turn off noise cancelling to ensure external sounds can be heard. I have only had these earbuds for a month, but I have to say: highly recommended.

I've been testing out these Sports Wireless Noise Canceling headphones for the last few days and I must say that they have impressed me more than I expected. Sound quality is crystal clear and loud. They sit comfortably in my ear without sliding out or hurting like other headsets I've tested out recently. Connecting them via Bluetooth is simple and easy. These are great for those that like to go out for a run or a nice walk; nice not to have to worry about cords/wires getting in the way while out running or walking. Call quality was also great. Charging took about an hour and a half or so and it was good to go for about 6 hours or so which is enough to get me through the day, although there are other headsets with a longer battery life. My only gripe which is certainly not a deal-breaker would be that I wished the cord was a tad longer. However, I love this headset and would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice reliable and comfortable headset for working out at the gym or going for a run.

I gave these a sweaty workout while cutting the lawn. The Sony in-ear headset did a good job masking the mower noise while still producing pleasing audio of my music. Pairing was simple and quick. Once paired, I was able to connect almost instantly by touching the NFC device ( small battery pack and control pod) to my cellphone. It found it and connected like a champ. Next I set it on 'noise cancelling' mode. You can also set it for conversation mode will being able to hear and understand someone speaking to you. Or, the third mode, which passes sound around you straight through. Good for walking or biking and still being audiably aware of the world around you. No problem with the earpieces staying put. There are enough size options to choose from. Also, the silicon parts are easily purchased and replaced. Overall great, lightweight active headset. Charged in under 90 minutes giving 6-hours play time. I wasn't able to test the microphone for cell phone conversation yet.

I can honestly say, this was probably the best bluetooth headphones I've used for working out. The sound is great. Actually the best I've experienced. I'm sure they have some that are more expensive that crank out better sound but if you want to experience the music these won't let you down (audiophiles that like to be active may appreciate these). I gave these as a gift and was upset that I didn't get them for myself once I heard the sound quality. I got these on sale for $79 and with $50 reward certificates, only spent $30. If you see these on sale at any point, check them out for yourself. They are great for the gym or when going on a run (they are noise canceling so be aware of your surroundings as you want really hear what's going on around you).

These are my first new in-ear headphones in about 5 years of owning a pair Audio Technica Deep Bass earphones. I decided I needed a wireless pair for running and not wanting to deal with long wires, therefore bought these to try them out. They hook in pretty well and don't let go of your ear easily. They have an ok noise cancellation mode which does a decent job but overear headphones do a better job. The ambiant mode makes it easy for you to hear outside noise so you can be aware of your surroundings. Overall battery life is about 5 to 6 hours depending on what mode you chose. The bass is awesome but can be a bit overwhelming for those who are looking for a more neutral sound. The mids do get a bit muddled but the highs aren't fatiging as well. In conclusion, a great purchase for me that marks a significant upgrade from my $60 Audio Technica I bought back in 2013!
