A nice small speaker. Sound is ok. Easy to operate and hook up to bluetooth. Battery lasts for a week or more. A good value for the money spent.

It is not the loudest but it sounds good and for it being small it has a lot of bass very portable and its water proof

This small speaker is an ideal size to carry in a back pack and has a good, clear sound. The charging time is acceptable and the Bluetooth works very well with all my devices except a first generation iPad. I use it daily and recharge at night. I have dropped it accidently at least twice with no visible damage. I summary, a reasonably priced Bluetooth speaker with good sound, solid electronics, and solid mechanics.

This speaker has great sound and decent low range for such a small package. It has good Bluetooth range (it continued to work even when I went outside to the street and left the speaker inside). It pairs quickly. It seems well made and durable, and the slightly rubberized coating gives it a bit of grip when setting it on the table or carrying it around. We ran it all day and the battery didn’t die.

We picked up this speaker on a whim, intrigued by its small size, and wow it's surprising how good the sound is considering the form factor and water proofing. Obviously this won't beat out a proper audio setup, and is only mono, but still gotta give Sony credit and a great form factor that can actually make our wood floor rumble when placed directly on it. Battery life seems great and no connectivity issues.

I purchased 2 for full sound quality. They were easy to configure and I now use them for everything. The sound fantastic! They are great for those with classic cars and work well with all the phone apps. I use them at the dinning room table during dinner parties, and outside when barbequing. Fantastic. My tradition high end component system rarely gets used now.

Very reasonably priced speaker, good battery life, good sound

This is a compact, powerful, portable Bluetooth speaker. The sound is great and the battery life is excellent. The included loop strap allows you to hang it almost anywhere. Easy to connect bluetooth devices. The speaker has a mic so it can be used as a speaker phone when connected to a phone. There is also an audio in jack which is helpful when a bluetooth connection is not preferred or feasible.

Sound is really good. I was able to compare in store its sound and find the sound quality is much, much "fuller" than cheaper brands and even better than more expensive ones. It's a bargain at the price it's at. I bought this so I can play favorite music while doing chores in the backyard. Easy to use and pair, too. I also paired it with my wife's iPod so she can replace her big, bulky, aging "portable" speaker with this tiny one (and free up counter space) while she knits.

I wanted the best Bluetooth speaker for the shower below $50, and this one didn't disappoint. The battery is fantastic! I bought it 3/20/21, charged it all night, as directed, and didn't have to charge it again until 5/17/21 with regular use. The sound is outstanding. Others have said it is heavy bass, but I find it just right. It is water tight.

Totally impressed with the sound given the unit’s size and price. It’s not a replacement for a home speaker system, but if you want to listen to music while having dinner outside or while sitting in the pool, it’s perfect. The battery seemingly lasts for forever and it survived an accidental 1 1/2 drop onto pavement (I accidentally bumped it off of a patio table). All in all a great purchase.

Bought this speaker for outdoor usage. Sounds great but could have been a little louder. Great bass. Would recommend

Our family has a few of these in different colors. The SRS-XB12 is a good quality portable speaker that delivers nice sound and does not break the bank. You can also pair this with another SRS-XB12 if you need more sound. We even use one with an old desktop that has a monitor with no speakers - just needed to get a Bluetooth adapter to connect the speaker. Good buy!

I bought 3 of these Sony’s in total. First I bought one as part of a gift and I was so impressed that I bought two more (one for me). They could be a tad louder. Also I looked up the reviews before I bought the first one. Reviews were excellent. Very happy. Also don’t have to worry about carrying the cell phone around. Sony, under 50.00 on sale. Cell phone 1,000.

This is the best portable speaker I have owned. I also have a Bose and they are very compatible but you can't beat this price for the awesome quality. I love that it is small, lightweight, and travel-friendly. I bought 3 more as gifts for a golf outing and the winners loved them to have in their golf cart.

For the size, the sound you get is pretty impressive. Dont expect booming 808s. I love placing this thing in a bathroom or bedroom in a corner on a solid surface to get the most out of it. I do like the finish, the feel and the look of it. Sony keeps it classy with their style. Things I dont like? The volume cuts to about half once the battery is at 20%. Compatibility with Sony's speaker app would have been nice. No USB type C. And the strap covers the charging light. That last one is petty, but it seems like an overlook on the placement of the light. Great device. Looking forward to giving it a sibling.
