Bought this for my nephew and he absolutely loves it. The sound quality is very good and the base is good as well, not as good as other ones but for the price it's well worth it. Haven't tried the waterproof feature yet but when he does i will update my review.

The sound from this litter speaker is amazing! Great bang for buck. Bass punchy enough especially if you place next to a wall. Voice and interments are detailed. Remember do not compare to a bookshelf or larger bluetooth speaker. Its also water resistant.

The size and shape make this speaker very portable. It has an attractive design. Plus the sound that comes out of this small speaker is great! It also has a long range performance on a single charge. Overall, it represents a good value from an outstanding company.

This is an awesome little Bluetooth speaker!! I love that it sounds great, lightweight, 16-hour battery life, and has a strap to hook on a backpack!! I love it so much that I just ordered one for my wife…wifey is writing this review. Lol.

I recently went out of town and brought this speaker with me and it was so perfect! It’s small so I can just put it in my backpack but as long as it’s charged it delivers music for hours! Plus I was surprised how loud it can get! Definitely happy with my purchase!

This little Bluetooth speaker is portable, and has a very long battery life. Sound quality is good, especially given its diminutive size. Linking it to my phone and iPad was fairly easy. I was so happy with it that I bought a second one.

It's a really powerful speaker for its size. Sounds clear and connects easily with smart phones and other bluetooth devices. The grey version blends in nicely with many color schemes. The strap allowes you to hang it from almost anywhere. Great product.

This Sony portable Bluetooth speaker has amazing sound quality for it's size. The base is much deeper as I expected & could not be more pleased with this purchase. Of course the fact that Best Buy had the best price always helps. I just take it in my backpack everywhere I travel.

The best product I bought from Best buy. It is portable and has an amazing sound when compared to its competitors. It has fallen many times but is durable. Bass sound is very good.

Louder than my phone speaker and has much more bass. Feels sturdy and has a very smooth feel to the plastic. Connecting it to my phone took about 10 seconds. Just turn it on and select it in your Bluetooth settings. Overall seems great for the price.

Great music nugget - nice sound esp. for the size.Holds it's charge well. Soooo easy to use. I use it while cooking, reading and at the beach. Be careful of sand getting inside though. It's not water-proof or protected against the elements.

This little speaker is awesome! Long lasting battery & when low, it lowers the volume to notify its running low on juice. If you buy 2 which I did you can pair them up to have 2X the sound. Durable too as I have dropped it & its still working great!

I've always been a fan of the Sony XB series... The XB12 solid with more midrange sound. Quality for a small speaker is really great. Although the XB10 seems to have more Bass. Great speaker with nice volume... Nice investment and durable too...

Have been using this for several months. Sound quality is pretty good, and its fairly rugged. Battery life is solid and the water resistance feature comes in handy too. Would recommend this, its pricy at full price but I've seen it on sale pretty regularly.

The smallest, most powerful for the size, not to mention cool looking, with battery life that lasts a long time. I am always impressed by Sony products, and this little thing packs a punch for a small frame and little price.

---HIGHLIGHTS--- Excellent Sound, Long-Lasting 16 Hour Battery, Waterproof, Small and Lightweight, Bluetooth Version 4.2 ---DESIGN--- This speaker has an attractive finish that feels capable of standing up well to outside use. It is very easy to use. All that is needed is simply to charge it, and then pair it to a Bluetooth device. It uses a micro USB port for charging and a micro USB cable is included. The battery is rated to last as long as 16 hours. I have been using it for a few days at moderate volume levels and find the 16 hour rating to be accurate. Since it is so small and light, taking it on the go is easy. It is hard to appreciate how small it is until you actually hold it in your hand. An included detachable strap allows it to be hanged or carried in various different ways. If you plan to use it outside, an invaluable feature is that it is waterproof (IP67 rating). This means that it can handle being submerged in water. It is also rated as dustproof. The speaker has a 3.5 mm audio input. If used with an audio cable instead of Bluetooth, the battery will last longer since you are not using the wireless receiver. ---SOUND QUALITY--- For such a small speaker the sound quality is excellent! All of the music I listened too sounded pleasingly full and detailed. There are limits to the amount of bass that can be produced by a speaker of this size but Sony uses a passive radiator to provide extra bass response. Passive radiators are normally found on expensive speakers and make music sound more dynamic. It uses Bluetooth version 4.2 which which is more efficient and sounds better than the original Bluetooth codec.. Two XB12 speakers can be paired for stereo sound. I was not able to test this, but using two speakers would create a wider soundstage. ---BOTTOM LINE--- If you are looking for a portable speaker, then this speaker is a perfect choice because of the powerful sound and long-lasting battery. It is easy to move around the home, take to the beach or the pool, or wherever else you want to have nice sounding music. It is simply amazing that a speaker that fits in one hand sounds so good!

I've bought this speaker for myself and I've bought it as a gift for friends and family members, and I've purchased it to use as a raffle item at work events. I love it. It's very compact and easy to transport, and the sound is great. Highly recommend.

I was surprised how small this speaker is but it puts out enough sound to keep me happy when I have friends over on the back deck. Perfect size for traveling and the battery life is excellent. I plan to get a second one so they can be synced up for stereo sound.

Speaker linked into the iPhone quickly and easily. Sound quality for the small size is better than expected and bass tones are very nice. Volume of sound is excellent for a home office and does non distort much at high output.

I love this product. You get great sound from a little package. It is very convenient to use anywhere, as you can even hang it up to things. The charge lasts for a while and very easy to connect.
