I was debating with this one or the jbl charge but decided to go with this one. so far so good battery life is good the sound is good, my kids like the lights!. The type c charger is nice to have too. Set up is pretty easy aswell. Im happy with my purchase

A year or two I finally broke down and bought the Sony XM4 over the ear headphones and was blown away by the sound quality and especially the noise cancelling. Then I eventually got the other XM4 earbuds. I had been using a little Anker Soundcore bluetooth speaker but I saw the XB33 on sale decided that if I loved both sets of my XM4s, I would probably love the XB33 and I did. This thing sounds amazing for its size. The colors just adds fun to it. You can download the app and change how lights from various options but all sync to the music which is nice. I loved my little Anker one because it sounded really good for how cheap it was and that it was waterproof with an IP7 rating. The XB33 is IP67 rated which is definitely nice. So I don't have to worry about it getting kicked in a pool or left out in the rain. Battery is rated at up 24 hours but I haven't really had a time where I played it for long enough that the battery runs out. I love the NFC pairing... makes it so quick and simple. You can be playing music within seconds.

After over a year of using the XB33, all I can say is I love, love, love it! The sound is smooth and clear and at max volume it is VERY LOUD! Combine that with other useful features and this should be on your short list! Added bonuses * "Light show" that patterns to the beat of the sound signal. I happen to really like this feature as the center speaker lights stay white while the two outer strips are RGB. This feature can be easily turned off if all you want is to listen and not see. * Battery life is excellent and the XB33 can be used for an entire day without needing recharging. I have used it for daily 30-60 minute sessions for weeks without needing a recharge. * Water resistance is excellent and my XB33 has been rained on during several outdoor trips with no repercussions. * Easy connection to sound sources through either bluetooth or 3.5mm plug. * Ability to pair with other SONY XB units for multi-speaker awsomeness!

Sound is great. We use it inside, outside, traveling, camping, anytime. It's a little heavy but not bad for the quality of sound you get. It has held up very well (we have kids) and we love the lights. My dad even tried to claim it because he loved the sound and ease of portability! Apparently you can connect multiples of this speaker. We have not done that yet but I'm looking forward to that also.

Wonderful sound in a medium sized speaker. Bass is extreme and intense even on “stamina” mode, decreasing the bass sound for extended battery life. Charged once, used for a week before it died. One of the best speakers I’ve had in a while, almost as good (loudness and quality) as the Onyx Harman/Kardan speakers. Very high quality, sound, bass, and battery life. Highly recommend!

Bought this on sale for a great price. Very happy with it. Use it on our patio often. Great sound and easy to connect. Love the party feature with the LED lights or you can turn that feature off. Just be sure to read the instructions as we had some trouble trying to figure out how to turn off the lights. Probably runs down battery faster with them on. Battery life is good.

Great Speaker all around. Sound quality is fantastic - it rivals speakers from competitors that cost upwards of $300+. Definitely waterproof (which we tested inadvertently, but were pleasantly surprised to see the claim was true. Perfect size (& shape) to take to a pool, the beach, ... wherever. Nothing wrong with this speaker at all.

I love this little portable Bluetooth speaker from Sony. It just doesn't seem possible so much sound can come from such a small compact speaker. But it does. It offers extended bass, 24 hour play time, can be paired with another XB33 for true Stereo sound, is dustproof and water resistant. We just moved into a new home which didn't come with wiring for outdoor speakers. This fills the outdoors with great sound. Download the Sony Music Center App to your smartphone and you can better customize your listening experience. It charges with USB C and a full charge only takes a few hours and you're ready to go for more than a full day's use. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this little marvel in Bluetooth Speaker technology.

I recommend Sony to anybody that wants a speaker this Sony speaker has it all very clean sound very loud music very easy to use the battery power and last up to 24 hours that's more than enough time to enjoy music anywhere you go that's a part where you can charge your phone if your phone happens to be losing power and also allows you to use it as a speakerphone instead of your own phone that way if you have a conference call everybody can hear last thing you can marry up to that believe for speakers but I only got the speaker because I wanted quality and spiritability cuz I mounted on my mountain bike now mind you this is a heavy speaker I did purchase the smaller speaker before and I had up to 15 days to exchange it but luckily I made it I got the bigger speaker because I like loud music especially on my bike basically Sony sums it up they are one of the best electronic makers on the market I've been around forever.

I compared this product with JBL, Bose and Amazon and found this product with longer battery life time of 24 hours compared to others with 8 or 12 hours. The bass sound quality is perfect esp when listening to morning news while in the shower and it is waterproof too! I really enjoy this product and well worth the price!

I bought this looking for a compact speaker with lots of volume. It did just that. Not only does it produce great sound, the battery life is amazing. I ran this speaker for hours and at the end of the day it was still around 70 percent. I think another great feature is being able to charge your phone from it too. Great buy.

EXCELLENT SOUND AND BASS! Long lasting charge and so far so good as for the waterproofing! Colored lights are bright and can be enough to light room comfortably with just the speaker alone on for some “ambient light”. Would definitely purchase another for friends/family as a gift.

Great sound quality. More full bass tone than I expected. Crisp notes in all ranges. Easy to set up and pair with phones - I'm almost 80 and did not grow up in an electronic world so appreciate when things are this user friendly.

Great sound and MEGA BASS!!!11111 on these. They can also be used as a recharge station for your gadgets since they are also a battery pack themselves! My advice? Buy two identical ones, since they get phased out for new models semi-quickly, and you can chain them together to have them duplicate the music/sounds, or run them as a stereo pair (one the Left channel, the other the Right channel). I dont regret buying the two I have, not one bit!

This speaker is rugged and is the perfect size to take on the beach or wherever you want to go. If you turn off the light show option the battery life on this thing is amazing! The light show is kinda cool though so if you don’t mind giving up some battery life for the extra bling… it is pretty fun. The sound quality is pretty good for a speaker this size and the only thing I wish is that it could be just a little bit louder on the top end. Great purchase though!

This speaker has extremely good sound, and a good bass sound, especially for its small size. Pairing is easy with both the phone and Kindle. Would definitely recommend for a good room-sized speaker.

Great speaker!!! Awesome quality, and the lights are pretty cool too. Does exactly what I wanted it to, but with better audio than I expected. Battery life is fantastic too.

Such awesome sound in this little speaker. When I am busy cleaning around the house, this is just the right size to carry from room to room. Also works great when going out of town in the hotel room. It lasts a long time on one charge and it doesn't take too long to charge either. The lights are nice and you can change the color with a button in the back by the charging port.
