It gets pretty dang loud for the size of the speaker. We like our music loud but we wanted something portable as well. This was perfect. From little league baseball, to trips, to the mountains to parties this has been awesome. Definitely suggest this.

You're not buying Bose or Sonos, so don't expect this to be at that level. However, for the purposes of just using it at home, maybe bringing it to a picnic with friends, this is an excellent option. The bass is strong that it gives the songs a lot more thumping quality. My only cons are 1) the lights that keep blinking cannot be turned off and 2) there is quite a jump in between volume increases. However, this is still definitely a buy.

I used to have a JBL speaker and I had to replace parts on it so many times , I got frustrated and decided to buy a new one. This Sony speaker has great sound and the battery lasts a long time before it needs another charge.

Fine sound, right size, attractive, simple to use

For its size, the Sony XB33 has good bass and a nice tone. We use it in our bathroom, so hopefully it will remain waterproof. It seems to go about 2 weeks between charges without about an hour of usage per day. The app is adequate. Bluetooth connection is slow to my Moto G6, but my daughter's iPhone 8 connects quickly. Happy so far.

While it's obviously not a replacement for the full sound of the cars system, it did a fine job of getting me by. As for a speaker in it's intended setting of filling a room with sound, it does a superb job. The charge holds for a decent amount of time. The speaker communicates to you when it gets low on charge as well as telling your Bluetooth connected device a running total of the charge in 10% increments. Play continues while you charge, so if it stays stationary and plugged in, the battery is a non-issue, but it is quite portable for music anywhere for hours of continuous play back on one charge. Bluetooth connection was simple. Connected and started playing within 5 minutes of purchase. Connection is hassle free every time after that. Has the option to connect to other compatible devices to create a two(2)+ speaker system, obviously this is sold spearetly, but possible. I did not purchase a second speaker yet, but I'll update if/when I do about this feature's functionality, but I'd wager it enhances the experience of music and would be worth it.

The little light show is nice. The quality of the sound is also great. It’s a very loud speaker too. We don’t have to crank it to max granted we live in a small apartment. The speaker is also easy to setup and is quite nice too. I recommend it if you in the market for a new speaker.

And I was so excited to see that the battery life will last me 2 full 10 hour work days without a charge. It’s sounds amazing and you can also DL the app and set the equalizers to your own preferences if you’d like! The only downfall is that to get the speaker fully charged again you need to plug it in for like 3hrs. But really it’s not that big of a deal.
