Sound is Fantastic!!! Bass is excellent!! Gets Loud only negative if it is really I don't believe battery is 24 hours, but it does last a very long time. Very satisficed It is larger than I expected glad I didn't go with model above this one. it is perfect. I would love to try that one though because this one is so great

App works well, controls the sound, lights and can turn off from app, which is a good feature to have. Overall would recommend this Sony speaker over the the JBL Charge 4 and the UE boom 3 which I returned to purchase this speaker.

Glad I listened to the store salesperson who told me to go with this one instead of the other brands. It has great sound, charges your phone, bluetooth, USP ports the kitchen sink. Oh and it has a little light show if you want it!

Good speaker for the price

Doesn’t get particularly loud in open spaces and sound gets a bit distorted at higher levels. But, in a small to medium size space (living room or bedroom) or if speaker is close by it gets the job done. Very portable, easy to carry. I carry mine in a medium size fanny pack that makes it easy to listen and walk hands free. I purchased for work, and it works great for what I got it for. One drawback is the lack of highs. Sound can get muffled with tracks with deeper bass. But, using equalizer on music center app can help. Easy to pair. The audible battery life is a great feature. Battery so far has lasted me through an 8 hour work with power left to spare. I am a sound enthusiast and always look for systems with good quality sound at and affordable price, and this is a good option. I am please with purchase.

Great Little Speakers

The sound quality is excellent for its size and dimensions. The battery life is also very good and I like the fact that a voice reminder gives you a little warning about charging it well in advance of it actually running out. I didn't even know I could use it as an external phone, until a call came while I was listening to a podcast via Bluetooth on my phone and I answered the call and I discovered I didn't need to hunt down where my phone was, I just used the SRS-XB33! The only criticism I have is the the + and - arrows are hard to see to manually turn up or down the volume, but that is minor.

Yes, the SRS-XB33 has a built-in microphone for hands-free calls. If you get a phone call, you can answer your telephone just by pressing the play/pause button. We're sorry to know if you feel the -/+ (volume) buttons are hard to see when operating the speaker.
When you press the –/+ (volume) buttons on the speaker or adjust the volume on the BLUETOOTH device, the (power) indicator flashes once or 3 times. Also, when you set the volume to the maximum or minimum level on the speaker, the (power) indicator flashes 3 times. The XB33 combines a tough, durable design with long battery life, deep bass sound, and flashing lights. Giving you the freedom to party wherever, whenever. Unbeatable music experience By Sony- As Always

Obviously Marshall has a good base but as always Sony have best sound quality and robust bluetooth connectivity for music as well taking call. SRS-XB33 has been my go to BoomBox while at Beach, Cooking, Patio and pool and Its Waterproof and Dust-proof features makes it easier to carry around. For Day to day sony is unbeatable at just right price.
