I have 3 Bluetooth speakers at home and Sony noice cancelling headphones. I use this the most because I'm constantly moving around the inside, garage, and large land. The Quality is great it feels like classic Sony. It's comfortable and I usually forget that I'm wearing it. It's not intended for athletic purposes.

Perfect for any environment, personally I use it when I’m out riding on my bike in the city for directions and music, on the freeway the sound is fair depending on how fast I’m riding, but at home its great. I can have the volume 2 clicks up and it’s pretty loud to me but someone next to me can hear it very lightly, its like being at a concert. Perfect for streaming a movie on your phone in any room, its like being at the theater. You can also adjust sound settings through their sony app. Cool investment. Not too heavenly fits nice and comfortable.

The quality of this speaker is top notch. I take it to the gym and no one can hear it when its around 75% volume. I went with this because i was tired of in and on ear head phones. Only drwback is thatthe plastic lining for the button lauout is already loose…bit i dont think that merits the loss of a star

This was purchased to replace a Bose companion for my wife who is around our toddler and newborn most days while listening to recordings for school. The wearable headphones allows for her to clearly hear her recordings while still being able to hear and be aware of the kids. It’s very lightweight - lighter than the Bose companion. Would love to see removable covers made for it.

I also own a Monster brand neckband speaker and it doesn't even come close to this thing. Very great sound quality...good bass for the size and all around game changer. When wearing it, it sounds very loud and clear...yet those around me can barely hear it.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well connected through bluetooth so works good with TV, phones, tablets etc. I think the other Sony(SRS-WS1) light grey neckband one has better sound for TV though but that model you can’t connect to other devices with bluetooth you are stuck to your TV wireless (can be wired to a device) which is what many people would be using it for anyway. This model music goes outward more so that’s a positive in terms of if you want to just use it as a speaker on a table for a podcast or music, but if your goal is not to disturb others this one isn’t as good as other model which shoots the music straight up to ear or down into ear if laying down, because of how the casing is angled in the other SRS-WP1 model . But this still would be helpful in keeping sounds near you or listening to things while you wear it. These are more comfortable than headphones or earbuds after a while, that’s also a main reason it’s good.

I can’t really have a immersive soundbar with subwoofer and play it loud without disturbing neighbors. So purchase the Sony NS7 neckband speakers. The sound it provides excided my expectations ten fold. So my first watch is Ready Player One in Dobly Vision and Atmos and wow i am fooled by the feelings of being immersed by all the sounds. The vocal’s all all clear and yet you can feel the bass and other sounds around you. Highest .recommendations to this product

I researched, watched all the YouTube videos, and decided to order. The setup was not as easy as I'd liked; I had to get behind the entertainment system. After that, it was easy. I have been using it for a month and can watch movies at a volume that works for me. I wish I could have TV sound and the shoulder speaker simultaneously so my wife could watch, too. I'm not sure why others complain about the battery life; I'm happy with the time between charging.

While the unit produces noticable sound while nearby a few feet away you can barely hear it and it has saved a considerable amount of sanity in my household. Aside from that it sounds amazing and it is completely immersive in sound (i couldn't hear myself talking in a normal volume with it turned up) 10/10 worth it!
