He is getting a little hard of hearing and the blaring music or TV drove the rest of us crazy. He has regular headphones, but they get hot and a little tiresome to wear all the time. UNFORTUNATELY, the bluetooth connection is weak at best. I have several bluetooth 5.0 devices and never experience a problem. Unfortunately this device acts as if it runs an older version of bluetooth. Breaks and pops were common. I had to return even though the BB price was very good. I would say grab these when on sale, but not if you live in a place with lots of "community" interference.

While we're glad you like the amazing comfort and audio quality, we regret to hear you're experiencing Bluetooth connection issues and that the unit had to be returned. The following situations may affect the quality of the Bluetooth connection between your unit and the connected device:
• The communication between the devices will be poor if there is an obstruction between the unit and the connected device. We recommend to remove these or move the neckband speaker and/or device avoid them
• Signal interference may occur when a Wi-Fi® device is in use near the unit if they both use the same 2.4 GHz frequency band. If there is a device that generates electromagnetic radiation, such as a wireless LAN, other BLUETOOTH device, or a microwave oven nearby, move it away.

She's hearing impaired so a personal sound system helps her with enjoying her favorite programs where she couldn't hear the TV before.
