    I upgraded my old 1080p Sony system, and the difference is incredible—it's like night and day, all while using the same speakers. I highly recommend this system to anyone with an older sound setup who wants to experience Dolby Atmos and 8K visuals. With my 5.1 speaker arrangement, the sound now wholly surrounds me. My living room doesn't have a bad seat; it sounds excellent from every spot.

    At first i didn't quite like it but after running settings and dialing it in its nice. Auto cal distances are a bit off adjustment with laser measure helps. Also make sure to try different modes to taste. Definitely not plug n play take your time and dial it in and its nice.

    I bought this because my Harmon Kardon AVR finally bit the dust after a long time. This is a really good unit and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. It was easy to setup as well.

    So far the sound is pretty good using the 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup. The setup was pretty easy using the on screen menu and it's a great value for the price. I paired it with my 4k apple TV and it works great.

    This is an excellent amplifier. For me, it's a welcome improvement over 790. This is not to imply the 790 was not good. It's not on the same level is all. The extra watts per channel and set-up provides a much better listing environment. Especially when connected to the sony 7.2 system using two subs moves are amazing.

    Excellent receiver. I connected my 4 Sonance in-ceiling speakers and the sound quality is amazing! I also connected my 800w Rocker Shaker Subwoofer, and sounds great. I wasnt sure what port to connected to since the receiver doesn't have a "subwoofer" indication, so I connected it to "center", seems to be working great though.

    I’ve been using Sony receivers for years, my last receiver was DN1080 and that receiver was great. The only down fall was the laggy glitchy Home Screen operating system. Now this AN1000 will knock you in your seat with sound and with the smooth operating system. This is definitely a better upgrade and worth the wait! My speaker setup is klipsch x2 KF-28, x2 R-120sw, RP-450c, x2 R-40SA,x2 R-14S and man this receiver hit hard! I definitely recommend this receiver to anyone upgrading or in the market new user!

    Easy to setup, great audio quality. It is a nice fit to my Jamo speakers. Great with the Xbox Series X with dolby atmos and 4k/120Hz. Could have a phono preamp.

    I have this hooked up to my PS5 and my X90K TV. It sounds so good that my friend who helped my juggle TVs and receivers was blown away by the sound check during the initial setup. ATMOS sounds amazing. Gaming is even more enjoyable when you can hear the guys trying to sneak up behind you. The On-screen display is very handy. The Auto-cal with the included microphone works so good that I didn't need to tweak anything like my last receiver.

    Atmos....wow! The sound from this thing is amazing! Everything is crystal clear, the sound imaging is unreal, and it was an easy setup. Calibration was easy with the included calibration mic.
