Man this 4k DVD player is awesome has all the functions you need. I bought a different 4k player at the same time and returned that one for this bad boy

I bought this 4K player as soon as I got home to Nashville this fall. It is a huge step up from Blu-Ray, and a welcome addition to my home entertainment.

This is a great 4K player with 3D capabilities and upconversion. It also doubles as a smart device for your television with apps such as TiVo and Hulu.

I don't know a great deal about the ins and outs of various 4K / Blu-ray players. There's plenty of makes and models out there. Any how I have a SONY TV, so I figured I'd get this SONY Player. It was simple to set up, the picture is fantastic and extremely easy to use. It works for me, I would recommend it. (Taking into account I'm no expert)

The 4K viseo through this player is great, the apps are decent most are your standard apps you find on any device, the home menu loads somewhat slow and it doesn’t have that tech pop to it, but it gets the job done.

Very good DVD player quality and easy to use.the only downside I would have is that there’s only one small LED light that Lets you know that it’s on.

Hubby had been wanting a 4K player and at this price it was a good deal, glad we made the purchase, movies are more vivid than bluray, I'm impressed.

Very happy with the sound bar it was my first bar so I don’t have much to compare it to but very happy how easy it was to set up and Pair with my TV!

Paired with my new LG OLED 65" and it replaces an older Sony that nearly always would NOT run Netflix BluRay DVDs. Would recommend this unit highly.

This unit was recommended by the BB in-home consultant to upgrade from a previous Sony blue-ray player. The old one had clear indicator lights and text prompts to let you know it was on, and even flashed messages as to whether the tray was open/closed and the unit powered on or off. This one has a single very small green LED to let you know it has power. My unit is in a rack with smoked glass doors - so often it is not known if this unit is even on - or not. The pictures and sound are great, but I miss the easy to see power indicator lights and messages/timer on the outside display - like the old one had.

My old DVD player died so I looked to get a bluray. It did not disappoint. It also upscales my older DVDs to 1080p so I get better quality on my TV.

This product had great resolution and audio. I have used the upscale function and works wonderfully. I recommend this product, it is worth the price

Original plan was to hold off on a 4K UHD Blu-ray player but needed to use the reward certificate that was automatically generated from purchasing the TV mentioned above. Amazed at how 1080p Blu-rays are upscaled but the jump to 4K discs lives up to the hype! Simply gorgeous. Surprised at the weight of the unit--built sturdy unlike a lot of the cheaply made electronics out there.

I would recommend this player for those seeking better quality picture, but there are a few drawbacks. I found something with more quality. Something with the 4K players that cause a delay with original blu-rays.

Works great and it's very easy to use! It works very well with Sony HDTVs and its remote that comes with it can be used for your Sony HDTV as well making your life simpler. If you are a gamer, I would instead recommend an Xbox One S / X for watching Blu-ray movies at Full HD or 4K UHD or watching Netflix at 4K or Full HD. This blu-ray player is the best blu-ray player for those who just want to watch movies on DVD/Blu-ray/Netflix or listen to music via Spotify/Pandora/Music CD. The display quality looks great on both my 1080p HDTV and my new 4K UHD TV.

This UHD Blu-ray player provides very good 4K picture when playing UHD disks and provides improved picture when playing a convention Blu-ray disks and DVDs. I am also pleased with the quality of the Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio sound that the player delivers to my home audio system.

This one Includes WiFi, be careful because some of them don’t. Also this unit is not cheaply made it has some weight to it and it’s sharp looking.

Purchased along with Sony TV. The unit was easy to setup, and has worked flawlessly, rendering blue-ray in better-than-blue-ray on-screen performance with upscaling. We look forward to getting our first 4k UHD movies, so cannot comment on viewing with this player. However, having owned a number of players this is easily the best quality build, easiest to use I have encountered.

It's a very easy set up and very easy to use. It was a great compliment with the Sony 4K TV I purchased.
