If you're looking to get the most bang for your dollars, this is a great player. It does it all and makes it look very, very good!!

Easy to hook up, functions perfectly. I like the built in apps for Internet streaming. Lays flat. Got a couple 4k dvds coming for it.

Used this just a couple times but the setup was easy and the preinstalled online apps was a plus. Still playing with it but can’t find any faults at this time and the reason for only a 4 Star.

This was a great buy for the money. Picture and sound are amazing when matched with a great 4K tv and good sound bar with subwoofer

I got this as a stand alone 4K player, I like it much better than playing movies through the Xbox One S software. Fantastic player.

For an affordable 4K Blu ray Player, this does the job. I wish it had an optical cable input, but the lone HDMI port works out well.

I had a Samsung 4K player that I was unhappy with as the screen would go black but I could still hear the audio. I took it back as I had the protection plan and got this one. This was is much better with better picture and the remote is much more user friendly. The Samsung remote was so small I couldn't hang on to it. I recommend this to anyone.

With this new DVD player, getting Netflix and Amazon downloads are so much faster and the picture is much better as well. Love it!

Sony hit the mark on this unit. Not only 4k UHD & great 4k up-convert, plus plays DVD-Audio, SACD & the DTS-X & Dolby Atmos formats.

Needed an HDR, Dolby Atmos player to replace my previous 4k player. Easy to set up and use. Great sound and picture for the money.

It’s the Best quality DVD player I am but it is a great addition to the 4K TV that I recently bought and made it excellent choice.

This is a very good player, not only for playing back 4K movies, but also for CDs, SACD, DVD Audio. It let me enjoy all my collection of Movies, CDs, SACD and DVD Audio. Bright picture with details, great sound if connect HDMI audio out for audio enjoyment. Most important - it only costs 40% of other universal players.

I Purchased the Sony UBP-X800 4K DVD Player about a year ago and it has worked flawlessly. Setup was easy once I updated the firmware. The apps I use on a regular basis were already installed and it plays 4K DVDs with no problem provided the discs are clean. The only negative thing about this player is that there is no LED display.

Love how good everything looks when watch 4K ultra HD. Every little detail is visible. The image and sound quality are wonderful.

If you have a 4K TV. you will need one of these!! got it on sale during Blackfriday and all I can say is it is totally worth it!!

Purchased this 4k Blu-ray player to replace a problematic one year old Samsung. It worked great. The picture was very clear and the sound remarkable on my seven speaker surround sound. Setup was easy and being able to use Netflix from the remote was convenient. I would recommend this Sony to anyone that is looking for a reliable player.

You need it if you want to buy 4k videos, but if you don't need to yet, wait a year or so, and the price will come down. Easy to navigate the features, and is what one would expect from Sony.

Overall this is a great product with a good interface and streaming options. Also easy to set up and love having 2 HDMI outputs.

Bought a couple 4K movies needed a 4K player. My TV and camera are Sony so I figured why my Blu-ray player. Works well with Tv.
