Good player, but Sony does not honor promotion

Purchased on 9/30/17 - offer was valid until 9/30/17. Best Buy salesman said I was eligible for offer. However, because I did not register player until a few days later, Sony says they will not issue the redemption code. Got runaround from Sony customer dis-service. Have only played 1080p dvds so far, very good picture. Deducted stars due to issues with Sony.
