We tried a blu ray cd that wouldn’t play in our more expensive unit at home and it worked fine in the Sony. Glad we got it.

I haven't had any issues and I have been very pleased with how it performs. I would highly recommend this Blu-ray player to anyone looking for a player that just plays Blu-ray disks and that's about it.

Super purchase price and a small foot print are added bonus, we don’t have any Blu-ray Disc so can’t comment on that.

The install process was very easy and the controls on the remote are well marked and intuitive to use-haven't had to pull out the manual yet! I also like the small size of the unit, so it is fits easily in our media center.

This player has a better picture than my old one ever had and the same features as my older one. It doesn’t have extra features like a more expensive model but it works great for blue ray dvds and non blue ray DVDs. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because it doesn’t have extra features which I don’t need. Otherwise it is good for my needs and at a reasonable price.
