    Since buying my Sony - BDPS1700 Streaming Blu-ray Player I have enjoyed using it. Now I can watch the Blu-ray movies that I could not watch on my old DVD player. I have to say I think the images come trough with greater clarity than I ever saw using the DVD player. I am impressed.

    This sony blue ray player is the greatest among so many products I’ve purchased over a 5 year consist shopping past. All products are perfect and have been very reliable with great price points appointed to them. Plus the return policy is very fair, with their time span return, customer service is always second to none. Sony is the best of the best.

    Second one we have, both work beautifully. Have had the first one for about 8 or 9 years and it hasn’t broken or stopped working once.

    I replaced a Sony 4K upscaling Blu-ray player that had issues playing many of my movies. This one plays them just fine and I can't tell any difference in picture quality. I guess upscaling players were all hype.

    Works great, though I haven’t tried too many of its many features yet - so far have only used it for watching dvds. My only issue is that this player does not seem to remember where it left off if a disc is removed mid-play, unlike my old Sony dvd player.

    I didn't need anything fancy for a DVD Blu-ray player. This is perfect for me because it's small and compact. The remote is very small as well. Great if you don't have a lot of space.

    Works great. I am using it with an older LED flat panel that lacks smart TV features. The player functions great as the "smarts" for the tv. Blu-ray DVDs look great.

    Bought this for my dad and it was easy to set up and for him to use. He’s enjoying catching up on lots of movies he hasn’t seen before as well as rewatching family VHS tapes converted to DVD
