Excellent if you don't need bells and whistles

I wanted excellent picture and top notch sound reproduction. I don't have wifi so no streaming. Mathis unit is remarkably good for a modest price.

A solid disc player that does the job

I can play DVD and Blueray discs with no issues. The price was reasonable for a solid machine.

It's a great Blu Ray

My DVD player still works, but I figured to upgrade it a Blu Ray. Well, no associate in Target was in the electronics area to assist me. So I went to Best Buy (in Altamonte, FL) and pulled out a few Blu Rays, and an associate picked this one out based on my news. It was easy to put together and I've had no problems using it. My DVD's, Blu Rays, and CDs from the CD days of music play without any issues.
