This is an excellent basic Blue-ray player that plays all the standard DVD, blue-ray, and music CD discs within one same machine. It has on and off light switch, front USB slot, and HDMI output for connection to the HDTV and other devices. The compact size, easiness of setup and playing, and of descent audio and picture quality of this Sony product are strong points of this item for me.

Great little Blue-ray player - I don't really use any of the streaming features with it, but the options are there - Loads fast, which is a plus - Once you put in a disk, your watching your movie almost immediately - Simple to use and set up - I would defiantly recommend - Robert C

I got this item simply for the ease of use. It plays BDs perfectly and the onboard apps make for a nice streaming package. It loads a little slow, it's not the best or the most expensive, but it never promised that. If you have non tech-savvy family member who just want an easy player, this is the one.

This Sony Blu-ray player (also plays DVDs) has been a nice addition to our system. It is easy to set up and is very small. The picture quality is great and even our DVDs look better. We do not use the streaming part of the player. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Very easy to setup. I did not even need the manual this product is so straight forward. Small, compacted, and works great. I love that I can plug my external hard drive into it and play my music from the hard drive since I no longer have a cellphone or iPod to listen to my music.

Good Blu-Ray player for the price. Comes with Remote which is easy to use. Does not have wireless access. Internet connectivity is only via Cat-5 wire. I have connected the Blu-Ray player to a Smart TV so I have no need for the player to connect to the internet. Easy to use. Small size is great for a bedroom TV setup and does not require a lot of shelf space.

Excellent buy and excellent price. Plays regular Blu-rays and DVDs wonderfully. Does what I want it to do and does it well. The number of different file formats it can play from the front USB port is very useful, so I can play things like my wedding video without burning it to a disc. I don't have a 4K TV so I didn't need an expensive 4K Blu-ray player. This does the job excellently.

Plug and play - easy to use and set up. Works well with older TVs that may not have the latest connectors. Picture quality is excellent. Why did I want a DVD player? Because I have a large collection of DVDs that I enjoy watching that are often hard/impossible to find for free on-line.

This DVD is compact and easy to use. This many options, I can stream programs (you have to have a WiFi source, as this does not offer WiFi) or watch a DVD. This is my first Blu-ray player and when I watch the DVDs vs Blu-ray, I don't see a difference. It is quick to start up.

Easy to use. Have always used a Sony product. They are reliable and well made when compared to other products used in the past .

This is a good basic player for the price. It is wired, which means no Wireless internet connections. We prefer to manage our wireless Wi-Fi streaming with a Roku. We have had rotten reliability problems and rotten apps with the players that offer Wi-Fi.

It is a simple Blu-ray player to operate. Also it is small if you do not have a lot of space. Only thing it does not have wifi capability and needs a ethernet cable or a wifi adapter to connect to the internet. If you are just going to use it to play Blu-ray and dvd it is perfect for that purpose.

Dvd player works as expected. Simple setup and my Samsung television recognized it immediately. My television is smart so there was no need to set up the wifi for the DVD player. The unit does not take up much room either. Very reasonable price is a bonus.

Great little player that allowed my father-in-law to play his BluRays he received as Christmas gifts in 2024, and the price can't be beat given the brand name! Recommended!

This is small and efficient. It does exactly what it is designed to do without taking up much space. It is economical. If it broke down I could buy a replacement. MY only complaint is that it does not have a manual with instruction on what to do if it stops working. This When the second one gave me problems I called the Geek Squad and they told me how to trouble shoot the player. I did so and the first player words fine after I bought the second one so I now have a replacement on hand. The player need to be accompied with a manual.

Great little unit. Have had Sony's in the past. They work well. Easy to set-up. Good Blu-ray, dvd playback. Have not used all features as the rv is a smart tv. Good unit for the price. Have had other Sony's that are similar & they were good units as well.

This a replacement for an older Sony BD player. This unit loads faster than my previous player and has an equal or better picture with few to no observable artifacts during action sequences. Overall, this is a great economical player.

I bought this for use in our RV. It is small and light weight. The picture quality, audio and ease of use are great. Good buy.

I purchased on line and picked up at the store. It was easy to setup. I like the fact that it will also play my DVD's. It is small and compact so it fits nicely on a small shelf. I would recommend this player especially if you need a devise that will connect to the internet.
