Great price/performance

When I connected this player to my Sony TV, the TV's input source automatically switched to the player, and the player's tiny remote controlled the tv as well. Neither of these happened with my old player. I didn't need built-in wifi since my tv already had a Roku stick, so I saved some money compared to other players. It just all works...no issues.

This met all my needs plus it was on sale. If your TV is on, then you power on this DVD player it will automatically switch to that input. I read some reviews that had a negative connotation towards that but I find it useful. No problems with it so far. Had it for about a month.

Cons: sometimes it takes awhile to load titles from hard drive and to read the disk, shows "initializing" message. Also if watching something from a hard drive, when you want to go back you have to start from the beginning(just annoying got used to the Xbox layout). Other than those two cons so far so good. Would recommend.

This one fits the bill and is easy to operate and fits nicely on top of the television.
