Very good budget bluray player.

It does not have a front panel display and the remote control is not as intuitive as some other Sony remotes, but it is highly recommended for a budget model.

Solid Product, does the job

With digital content, this type of hardware is soon to be a thing of the past, but with two toddlers, being able to thrown in a Blu-Ray is very helpful. In that regard, this does the job well. We don't use the "smart" function because on our TV set ups we have either a smart TV or an Apple TV. Solid product for the price, and I appreciate the somewhat compact size of it.

Hooked it up to a Samsung smart tv with an hdmi cable plugged it in and was using it in 5 minutes. Longest part was taking it out of the box. Have had no issues with it after about a month of usage. If your looking for a basic player with no advanced features this is a good fit
