The picture is great, although grainy with older DVDs, as is to be expected. It is also wi-fi enabled, and I found those instructions skimpy and not very helpful. Someone who is more tech savvy than me would probably do fine, and I've not tried to get into it, because I already have a Roku on my TV.

Great Blu-ray and good streaming player

Apps are already loaded. Be aware that this one is less expensive because it has wired LAN connection only. No Wi-Fi. Not a problem for me as I have a LAN outlet right at the TV location.

So after my education, I purchased this DVD player. It works for both Blu-Ray and not Blu-Ray (which most of my DVDs are). Can't go wrong for around 50 bucks.

Very nice little player

Had an older Blu-ray that was still working fine except a few of the newer movies we purchased would play but with none or very little sound. Got this and all is well. Like the compact space saving design.

Very small/light

Even at its low price point, this model has all I need and more. I was surprised to discover how much smaller and lighter it is than the BDP-S390.

Blu ray player review

My only complaint is that it interferes with my other HDMI port, forcing me to pickup another controller and select the input frequently. Other than that it is a great blu ray player.

Great Priced Player!

Bought this item, knowing it would be good since it is Sony, but didn't expect it to be as good for this low price! I have tried some of my DVD's in it, and it also makes them look a ton better as well, so I am a happy-camper/viewer!
