I took it back to Best Buy and the sales person suggested that the Sony might be a good alternative to my original purchase. The Sony has worked as advertised ever since we got it.

Thought about it and went back and purchased at a later date and it servers the purpose. Excellent recommendation and glad we purchased the blu ray.

It has limited apps for online content access, which is also limited to a wired connection. A little disappointed that I could not add other apps (YouTube TV) that I frequently use.

They don't have cable or a SMART TV but with this product I was able to download Netflix & Amazon Video so now they have more viewing options. SO easy to operate and run the apps.

This player was excellent for my courses. Video and sound quality were excellent and the remote control worked great for advancing lessons or repeating them.

It does have options that I am not able to use, like connecting it to the internet, but it plays and works unlike my other one. I am glad that it is a Sony, as now it matches my tv.

Nice to be able to watch the old dvds again! Everything synced to the remote so its easy to use.
