Work with new blue-ray and dvd. Don't work with 1990 dvd.

You cannot go wrong with a Sony. All of our TVs have them. Much better than other brands we have tried in the past. Great price!

This Blu-Ray player was very easy to set up and the applications were as well. I recommend this Blu- Ray to anyone and the filter to play the applications were fast.

It had been a long time since we bought a dvd player. We were amazed at how small they are now. So nice to have less clutter. Works great. Nice to have all Sony products so remotes are comparable too.

New home. Needed extra Blue Rays to be able to connect to Netflix for every room. It was easy to install and met all my expectations. Will also be used to view movies on CD collection. Great product and would recommend to friends and family.

I just wanted a basic blu-ray player (didn't need a smart one with wi-fi) and this one certainly has delivered. Also have used it to play CDs through the sound system on my TV and it works wonderfully.

I bought this Sony Blu Ray player as gift for someone who could not afford to buy their own. I have using Sony players for 15 years or so now & although there are by no mean perfect, I know them & they work. It was, I believe, the cheapest Sony BR player of the lot. It is small & cheaply built but it is a Sony it does work. If I was shopping for myself I would have gotten a better model, most likely Sony.

Great player for DVDs and music cds and easy to use

It is a wired player which I knew and I like it. Great quality and a very good price. The unit automatically downloaded the latest firmware all that went perfectly and I am very satisified with this unit.

Always liked SONY audio video products and this one lives up to its reputation. Nice, very small unit. Plays all DVDs including Blue Ray with great video image. Overall, a very nice DVD player.

This device is a very basic version of a DVD player that delivers great sound and sharp pictures. My previous much higher cost version required a separate cable and delivered sound of a lesser quality.

This unit is easy to use (a priority in my house), works well and performs better playback quality than my now defunct payer-recorder which cost me 5x as much, ever did. Try it - you'll like it.
