We needed another blu-ray player, and this is the newer model of the one we already had. It’s compact and does a fine job playing movies. The apps issue isn’t one that matters to us because we have smart TVs and fire sticks. Best bang for the buck to get a wifi player!

This was a replacement of a wired DVD player that got fried from a lightening storm. We decided wifi might protect it from damage in another lightning storm. Works quite well, plays all dvds and BluRay disks. And the built-in internet access allows YouTube and other channels. Easy to connect and the "Smart" TV recognized it with few problems.

I have Sony TVs so great fit for us. Placed in our tiny house cabin! Small and great for watching Blu-ray’s with No Wi-Fi. I will say it’s not our main focus when we’re there, but had no issues with hook up or play.

Always trust Sony for Blu-ray equipment as the original developer of the technology. Unit is small but high quality, slide out disk tray for loading media, I don't use the streaming capability but picture output is flawless over HDMI

This player is very easy to set up via the HDMI output and produces very good picture quality. The unit seems to process commands from its remote control slowly and the remote needs to be pointed directly at the player for it to register. But, for the price, this is a decent player overall.

Easy set up, doesn't take up a lot of space, looks nice in the entertainment unit. Haven't used it much as we stream a lot but nice tonhave for DVDs and BluRay discs when internet goes down or we have a movie on disc that isn't on streaming services.

The first Blu-ray purchased with TV didn't work, but Best Buy replaced with a new one which is currently working just fine. Appreciated the service by Best Buy to replace the non-working unit without any hassles. Much appreciated. The 4 stars is because the first one didn't work, not related from service by Best Buy. That is a 5.

Loved my other blu-ray player so much I had to buy a second one. These 2 players are amazing! I love the quality and how easy they are to use. Well worth the money.

This little dvd player is amazing. It's 1/2 the size of the one it replaced and performs so much better. No more dvd's stopped mid show because the ols dvd quit!

Great unit for the price I bought open box item not sure what to expect, very happy with this DVD player. It is a basic player and works great.

I have only used this Blu-ray player once. Gives a great picture. It is Wi-Fi capable, but I was not overly impressed with the way the app set up works. I have a Roku for my apps and only looking to use this to play my Blu-ray and old DVDs. This player will upscale the old disc.

The dvd player was all that the box said and was delivered to me really quick. It’s thin and light weight and plays great

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. I needed a device to be able to stream Netflix since my current one was no longer going to be able to do so as of the 18th of October. Set it up but navigating on Netflix with the remote was a horror story. Slow or didn’t respond. Had to press selected button more than once. And when I eventually got to the selection I wanted to watch, it may have played a second or two and then buffered continuously or just plain froze even though my internet speed is fantastic. Over 20 Mbps. And another problem that I had was that it wouldn’t power off. The screen would turn black but the green light on the unit would remain on. Tried opening the loading tray and it wouldn’t open. Tried doing the same for both, powering off or opening the loading tray by pressing the buttons on the device itself. No luck. Had to disconnect from power to turn off. This occurred on a number of occasions. I only gave it 2 stars because it did play dvds.

Small, compact, but sturdy, powerful little streaming device with WI-FI equipped and the ability to stream just about anything! This is a streaming dream machine with a built-in Blu-ray player. You can't go wrong with this purchase at all!

Lots of bang for the buck! This is very easy to hook up, very easy to use, has many features, and the playback quality is great. Also, it doesnt take up much space.

Great little machine. Does exactly what we want for a Blu-Ray player in our bedroom. Easy set up. Don’t really need the streaming as our smart TV takes care of those. But works great.
