More than I can imagine. I wanted a DVD player that worked. This one not only worked but provided Blu-ray with Wi-Fi build in. Great for streaming on my old Samsung TV.

The player is small, light and simple to use, just what we were looking for.

This small unit is packed with features. I have two hardwire LAN connections at our entertainment center, for the TV and the streaming media computer, so I needed the wireless WiFi for this replacement DVD player. The router is 2 rooms away and this unit grabbed all 5 bars and was EZ to set up. It does an OK job with up-scaling old standard DVDs, but just know that if you have a newer 4K TV, it's going to be grainy. Blu-Ray discs look GREAT and the Hi-Def streaming from the on-board apps was excellent. I think the regular retail price is worth it, but check for open box units. They had one and I scored -- and I had my annual birthday discount, too! I'm not hyping, but be sure to join/sign-up on the Best Buy web site. You get nice discounts and they won't bother you with endless emails. The points add up. :-)

I purchased the Sony blu-ray player with built in wifi & HDMI cable. I liked that it has the HDMI cable included. The reviews say the Sony blu-ray players are good. it has an added bonus of having built in wi-fi. So you can turn any tv into a smart tv by using this. So it is cheaper than buying a smart tv. we have 3 smart insignia tvs from Best buy that have lasted about 10 years & still going strong.

The DVD player works great! Was a gift for my 96 year old mother for her birthday. She is very happy to have it and uses it frequently along with streaming old programs.

Sony Blu-ray works great, worked out of the box, easy to setup, no problems playing CD, DVD, Blu-ray. Good price, delivery was quick, recommend.

Small form factor, plays everything well, upconversion makes things look very crisp and am excellent price.

Was easy to set up and plays all of our DVDs, no problem. We don’t have a need for the BluRay capability. Only 4 stars because the real test is how long it will last, which I won’t know for awhile…

I bought as replacement for my old Sony DVD player. It was easy to hook up and ready to go within minutes! Streaming is fairly new for us. Will take a little longer to completely figure it out.

Great quality, easy to use. It does offer a form of screen mirror but you have to download an app. There are two different apps, both are sketchy and there’s a pay wall. If you don’t plan to use screen mirror then this is a good DVD player.

Easy set up easy to find apps. Price was great. And I’m familiar with the brand. So glad it was in stock instead of just online
