This player had the ease of set up and use I wanted and works beautifully. Hey and the price was affordable for someone on a fixed income.

This unit has worked wonderfully so far. It also automatically switches the TV to the DVD unit when a disc is inserted. The remote is user friendly. This unit did connect to my home Wi-fi to connect to the internet for YouTube etc.

Used it for music and movie videos and love it! Watching what and when I want without commercial interruptions is priceless! In fact I ditched my cable and am so much happier than paying outrageous amounts to the cable companies! And, it’s a Sony and I have 2 TVs that are Sonys!

The add-on apps seems a tad limited but that could be because of contracts with Sony. It does its main purpose well and I have no complaints about playing Blu-rays, DVDs, and even CDs. Side note: I had a reason to purchase 2 and have them in the same room... I see it's a known issue, but the IR remotes will run both at the same time if the players are close enough. Just and FYI
