I didnt need a fancy player with a lot of different features. This machine is simple to hook up and you dont need instructions to get it to work. Its lightweight and has a very slim design. If you dont have much space this is the blu ray player to purchase. Simply magnificent in all aspects of design and function.

Finally managed to wear out the last model which lasted three and a half years of hard use. BR still leaves streaming quality in the dust. No frame jitter during action scenes, perfect color and sound. The remote is intuitive and easy to use. Setup is fast. Difficult to not like anything about this player.

Sony Streaming Blue-ray Worth the $$

This player has been excellent, as it plays all DVD and Blue-ray discs. The picture quality of both DVD and Blue-rays from this player are excellent. Shipping was quick and arrived undamaged. The player has all components necessary to utilize the player immediately

Set up was pretty easy even for a non-tech person. The item was an open box online order but did not say it was MISSING the remote! Thankfully I was given a universal remote to replace the missing one but had to drive to a store....this was an online order & I Didn't want to drive to the store.

I never use this item it was a refurbished or something but it didn't come with remote control or power cable or anything. Buying those items separately would have cost more than the player itself so I just returned it. No harm no foul. Can't give a bad review and I haven't tried it so given the option I'll go with the five stars besides who's buying DVD players anymore

It works great and is small enough to tuck away nicely. Since we acquired this we have found a number of our favorite flicks are not available on any streaming service and have started using Vintage Stock to buy them to watch on dvd

Delivery was fast and set-up was very simple, and easy for me to do myself without any help. I need to understand the remote and the TV set-up yet to do. I know I will love using this player, along with my new LG Smart TV in my bedroom! I made 2 excellent purchases.

The quality of my music was excellent as was the set up and playing of the disc player. BTW thanks for including the HDMI cable !

I have only briefly tested this one for functionality, hence the 4 stars. We needed something with wifi built-in and a few particular apps (Vudu, YouTube, Pandora, Slacker) and this fit the bill. If it works for 3 or more years, we will get our money's worth. No Amazon Prime or Disney+ apps though which would have been nice.
